Well, Vergil resetter his age after splitting into 2 lolz, it was some kind of rebirth process where you will be a little bit weaker than before, but your limit will reset, meaning you'll be able to get stronger with the same amount of time. Well, some games do have this, and some games makes you retain 100% instead of 90 or 95% of your previous strength and then reset your level to 1 and you can grind again faster, but stronger.
