Incase anyone is struggling let me say this! 1. Style is only important for: no items and getting a B or higher in style and s ranking time and orbs, orbs is a pain since dmc3 was orbs in general usually from enemies included. 2. In this fight i didnt lock on i used two thingers 1 on x and 2 on triangle and i set l2 to long range, i just did that got this 6th attempt with anger. 3. On strong enemies use yamato lock forward attack to go through oponents then combo from back. Good luck guys thought i would post since i cant do perfect

Oh the gameplay... All this talk about leveling up and the view of cool mechanics being done near perfectly makes me dare to want a spellcaster with DMC gameplay. Yeah! Imagine if you had a spellcaster in dmc, like with balder in bayonetta 2 but with spell customization and combos. I Imagine the bigger spells operating a bit like super moves for spells, but with a mixture of small comboable small hits that help absorb energy while serving a function, a mixture of pull and push styles, with the character, while able to pass with combos, rewards with players who like to set up. I hope V comes out as a cool character kinda like this. I can see him operatIng similarly, using demons to summon. Damn, can't wait to see this dude rock that shit.

Wait until the number you want shows on the top face of the die and then strike it with Yamato (just a basic strike), you'll always get that number (the same strat can be used with Nero, but instead of a Yamato strike, you use buster).

I know that these comments are old but, the sequence is 1 4 2 6 3 5 . The number on top at the moment you hit will be the number you get, but don't use your gun I get mixed results when I shoot it.

-If you are playing special edition, attack it with melee, don't shoot it (I say this because in the original you had to buster it or snatch it with Nero) -Memorize the pattern of the dice. That's about it. For example 2 is always after 4. And 6 is always after 2... and so on.

Lol i saw few moments when Trick up saved you like a bless. Literally split second before you gonna be hit u managed to press it. Or maybe it's me too slow, i've never bothered with proper Dante fightning and kept it cool playing Nero only. By the way, i found the way orb counter work back to dmc3 yet. I thought every player knows that zzzz. Basically you can end the level with 0 orbs found and get S if no orbs were in rooms you visited. well, same idea as you get with time rating this mission *cought* And about the thing that DMC have same requirements for every hero - the same thing why Gladiuses being refracted (or countered?) by any attack of new characters. Basically it was made to support this boss battle, to throw them back to window, but it works everywhere, regardless level. Devs either way too lazy to bother about, either engine still based on first DMC and can't even hande IF statements :O

6:38 You know that only enemies on your screen attack you, right? They can't really sneak on you if they are out of sight. Done this with Lady to easily get no damage. Sadly doesn't really work on bosses though. I know, it's cheesy af.
