Right i wish we could add multiple enemies vs just practicing against one but we cant have it all i guess
@darkdestructer4 жыл бұрын
I understand why tho. every enemy has armor properties and a stagger meter, some cant be launched until your stagger is full. definetely hard to get good at this game in a training room, yet it is good for starting to learn your first steps. but what does it give you being able to jc on an afk enemy but cant do it in combat. I actually prefer bloody palace to practice, especially goliath once u beaten stage20. he has an insane hitbox so definetely your best bet to practice stuff like this. in dmc4 Belial was your punching bag so..

Hey this series is what I've desperately needed man! The videos are of very high quality too. I never understood jump canceling or interrupting built in combos. I always just did advanced button mashing as I call it, randomly picking moves one after another. Now I feel like I can really start to come to grips with the formerly unfathomable depths of dmc combat.

Really enjoy the way you explain things. I am getting better after watching you and others, and practicing. The void is good and all, but I am finding the "warm up" option from BP much more enjoyable and realistic. Practicing on floors with a high enemy count really makes a difference. You are rarely in a 1v1 situation and locking on has been my biggest hurdle to adjust to but these fight are helping. - maybe any pointers on that? I'm finding a bit of flow with just pressing lock for a few moments to input directions and swing and unlock to have more control over my next attack when crowded instead of staying on the one I may have (likely) knocked away. But I'm still struggling at times. - and ex act PLUS knuckles is damn near impossible for me except on the long animations. Seen some crazy dmg output hitting every swing with a knuckle. Rediculous.

Maybe a dumb question, but is it cool to use a minimal kit with Dante to learn him? Just wondering if equipping sword and pistols only and then slowly adding to that would be beneficial to learn him, or if it would limit options and style rating potential ?

I know you're stopping this series, but may I just ask if starting off with 4 weapons with dante better? Im just afraid that if i only get used to 2-3 weapons, i won't be able to learn to be efficient with more weapons. For example, the muscle memory of how many weapon/gun switches etc. hope you can reply and hope you're doing well!

If you want to use 4 weapons and guns then I say go for it. If it's too hard to get used to then I suggest sticking to 2 or 3 weapons until you're proficient at it. For me I'm just not used to switching through 4 weapons. Plus I'm comfortable with my load out lol Also I hope you're doing well too!

So I've played alot Of Devil may cry , But i never got into the detailed Mechanics of the games, this is why i always ended Never getting past certain parts Of difficultie cus i could deal enough damage and keep my Style up while Taking Minimal amounts of damage. even doh i played through DMC 1 through 5 , Put alot of time in 3 and 4 I was always at a lack of Physicaly Grasping the core machanics of the game. To which my main thought still is How do i deal more damage. Now i want to be able to Preform better and take less damage and JCing seems to be one of the key features in it. But it still feels hard to comftorably Move between moves and styles to make a good chain. I know From a fact that i am a button masher and i cant time anything at all especially under pressure Of the gameplay. How did you learn to become calm and collective when preforming combo's ect. bit of a long and wierd comment maybe sorry about that. but this is the first time i'm actually trying to sit down watch videos and Practice DMC. but i'm already getting stressed out by how much info there is and its makes me anxious. love the DMC Games but want to be able to play more then just normal mode.
