DMC5 is more complex. More moves, more depth, more mechanics. DMC4 had a different engine, so it felt complex, when really it was more or less slighly less then DMC5.

Honestly I find Dmc4 Vergil felt more "weighted" but I think it has to do with sounds and visuals. For example his summon swords in 4 felt like I was launching swords out of some kinda rifle and other skills such as basic swings of his sword to JC have similar effects. In 5 they don't feel like that, but honestly the more I play 5 I feel they did it to make his skills feel faster, also as was said it is a different engine as well.

Judgement cuts? The input for judgement cut is holding the attack button and releasing it when you see the indicated charge in blue glow around Yamato. You can do consecutive judgement cuts if you time your button release just as the next charge appears. It has to be perfect framed. The frame window gets thinner as you do more consecutive judgement cuts so it gets hard to keep it up.

It's been modded, cooldowns and restrictions on chainable combos for certain moves have been removed (e.g you cant do more than 3-4 judgments cuts in a row in the game but this guy does 6-7 sometimes)

@@johnstevensstevens402 thats something I call "trick judment cut" Basically you hold the attack button and trick up or trick down , this allows you chain judment cuts indefinitly , also , you can cancel out of every move by jump cancelling or tricking , the game was only modded for what I can tell to make the enemies have more health and the different color pallets

It's way too easy. I'm waiting for the PC Legendary Dark Knight mode to be updated to work with Vergil. I'll then increase the monster spawn rate to maximum (way more than console) and use a mod to make them all DMD (console LDK mode is only Sons Of Sparda difficulty). I think that will be more fun to experiment with :D
