Dude from California here. All I have to say is that every top 8 battle all the way to the finals were absolutely beautiful. Such crisp driving, great track and dope skills from all these guys. You fellas in DMEC, all the European drivers and the fans at this event are MVP's. Can't wait to see the action next year!

I agree. Ive been watching FD USA and FD Japan but Drift Masters European is by far my favorite drift series. All the drivers are absolutely amazing and they always drive at a 110%. There all great drivers and you can't count any of them out there is no under dogs

Coming from FD this is so different. It’s so much tighter and the Cars are much more diverse. I really like the european Style.

FD def has it own style with the big banked fast tracks but I wish they mixed it up a bit with some more technical smaller tracks. I guess englishtown has a little bit of that.

One of the biggest differences between FD and DMEC is the stance of the cars. The overall look of Japanese and EU builds always look good. Seems that original aspect of drifting was lost in translation here in the states, at least in FD. They need to make the events more personal but it’s clear that FD is understaffed. Events feel disconnected and imo it’s a combination of crappy audio quality, then the guy talks wayyy too fast to be understood, and overall most US drivers don’t exude humility as much as those outside of the US. Then again we are the gunslingers of the world so that’s probably a reflection of our overall populous.

I'm from California, have been into drifting since FD was started. To be brutally honest, DMEC is straight crushing it. The tracks, the drivers and the judging is so much better in DMEC. Keep killing it! Quick Edit: I forgot to give props to the announcers, David cracks me up with his commentary.

Each and every battle in DMEC this round was more exciting than most of the final battles in FD, you couldn't ask for a better way to end the 2023 season.

This is the second event of this series I’ve watched and I got to say they’re doing a wonderful job but you have to give every driver at least one five minute time out for repairs. FD has that right? And your rules about that here suck.
