You may know that once you open it there no way to seal it again but wrong, you can seal the opening by blocking the entrance with your hand and by shaking it upside down causing the marble to reseal the entrance with the pressure of the carbonated drinks. And also you can keep the marble popper with you in case that you are going somewhere to continue drinking it.

Just thought I'd mention this for the people who are curious about trying Ramune but don't live near any Asian specialty food stores. Cub Food actually carries a very limited selection of Ramune that is located in the Asian food aisle of the store. So if you want to try this drink out but don't know where to go to find it, either give your local Cub Foods a shot or just order it online from Amazon, Samurai Buyer, etc :). Lots of places sell Ramune, so you don't have to look to far to find it!

the story behind this drink is sort of weird... the inventor was a scottsman who was also a freemason, the drink is a hundred years old but the bottle was designed 150 years ago and saw use outside of japan long before ever arriving there. in japan there's a monument built in the name of the manufacturer/creator of the drink-not the bottle "Alexander-Cameron Sim" it is a marble obelisk, it was once broken in half but it is now repaired. this drink is as japanese as doritos...
