When he was asked in the ring post fight about the the rematch he didn't just flat out say 'yes' but instead said IF he is treated like a champion he will take it, meaning if he is treated like the a side financially. Saying he is too smart and accurate for Canelo proves that you are a casual fan. He was too big for Canelo, thats it. Canelo also put on too much weight for his natural size and gassed. If they fight at a lower weight the fight would be a lot more competitive. No doubt Bivol is absolute class but what you said about Canelo with his resume having fought 18 world champions is just uneducated BS. Most of his opponents were selected lol? By age 21 he was set to face tall/awkward talented champ Paul Williams but he was in a career ending accident. Then by 22 unified with high/risk low reward Trout. Fought Floyd by 23 and then Lara who were both two of the most skilled fighters at the time, etc. And at middleweight he was underdog when he fought GGG in just his second fight above 155 and remained the underdog in the rematch when he beat GGG at his own game. Meanwhile GGG from his never took the same risks, he was in his 30s saying he'd fight anyone from 154-168 yet his team rejected fights like Lara because they didn't like his style and said it's "unfair" for him to move up to face Ward at 168 yet expected other fighters to move up for him. Never in a million years would GGG fight a Bivol at 175. Canelo actually delivered on GGG's empty boasts as 154-175 champ including unifying and claiming the ring belt in 3 of them + 168 undisputed. But that's managing opponents lol?
