This performance should only be heard by those who are shy about Shostakovich. Your performance is more than enough to express Shostakovich! Thank you for the wonderful performance.

Вновь слышатся магические звуки, Скользят по клавишам изящно руки. Для фортепиано пьесы без гротеска, Исполнил Шостаковича Маслеев с блеском!

This is amazing. I am not a big fan of Shostakovich but these pieces are very melodic and beautiful. The funeral march ressembles a lot to one of the Beethoven sonatas!

Yes! Its really close to 12th sonata!

@@dimamastube hello Dmitry, I've been following you for a while but I'm struck by your interpretations, among many others I met and appreciated Kapistin's second thanks to you. Will you do concerts in Italy, perhaps in Milan or Sardinia? saluti dall'italia

Dear Dmitri, Greetings from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. I am truly impressed by this new discovery! I am considering new repertoires to prepare for my 2022 Cliburn Amateur competition. I am wondering how I could get the scores - are they being published? Any advice? Cheers, Xiao

Just pure technique he can play virtually anything but after a while it gets boring First one is like rustle of spring and second is obvious same as Beethoven funeral march. Third is very simple tune copying many pieces Fourth is like a mendelssohn lieder. Nothing original
