That's true. Small hint: have everyone that can learn spells from scrolls cast pits, and buy a few spiked/ acid pit scrolls. Works like a breeze, keeps you from getting overwhelmed, and also damages them.

Pits are okay, but you can't directly damage enemies that fall in them. Grease is better.

@@thisisaname5589 I was using automatic builds for npcs and for a long time Woljif was the only one with grease. My whole strategy was literally Woljif casting grease, then Lann no-scoping those outside of grease and Seelah smiting those who succeded on saving throw. I was SCREAMING when he ran off during the gargoyle attack

@@magdachlebicka3895 Truly the strongest of all possible builds, without a doubt, is the monk-dip dragon disciple sorcerer lich for an evil run, or the monk-dip paladin/fighter angel for a good run. Monk is just an insanely useful class for the free AC bonus.

My favorite BGM in this game. Reclaiming Drezen as you, your companions and your army fight against the cultist and demons. Then best part is when you finally reached the keep, one of the demons cried out: "The mortals are slaughtering us! How can this be!?"

@@remiliascarlet3259 I would agree with this, or the Trickster Angel is too loud, all that holy light, smite, etc. it feels like you're simply trying to overpower them with the direct opposite of what they are Similarly Demon's vibes are too loud and simply raw force vs raw force. Lich and Aeon are like silently there, the demons are doomed either by the embodiment of death itself or the cosmic order wills it, it's inevitable, it's an unstoppable, constant force beyond the understanding of the demons, push as they may you are simply inevitable. As for Trickster? They aren't even being taken seriously! what sort of eldritch horror esque comedy would he pull next? Azata is just Azata, Time to win with power of friendship!

This made the battle of recapturing drezen 10x more epic, this game has so many epic moments it's incredible, definitely one of the best rpgs I played recently, it tops elden ring easily

I love how you weave the main theme into this from :47 to 1:07. I also love the interaction between the instruments and the chorus in that section as well, they are having a conversation with the instruments presenting a question and the chorus presenting an answer.

The battle for Drezen is my favorite and this soundtrack get all the credit for it. It's the most epic battle music in the whole game and i'd go through that entire quest 100 times because of it.

This is awesome. If there is one issue I have with the game (aside for just not having more of all I love about it) its that this feeling of being the underdogs and fighting for survival is really only captured in Act 1, I really wish it took longer for us to get to the top dog position. By the time we encounter Baphomet and such it just doesnt feel like we are in a position to lose, dont get me wrong, those are awe inspiring moments but still, we go from zero to hero much too quickly for my tastes, it would have been better if they were yet harder won and more earned.

Old comment, I know. But I'd argue there are more moments like feeling completely outmatched. Such as when you go west the first time after capturing Drezen, an epic dragon falls from the sky to one-shot your entire party. It does its best to keep you in check, at least imo.

Based and lawfulpilled. Tbh in medieval time she'd have been hung for all of that shit. She single handedly could have turned a bright victory into an utter disaster by demoralizing the men who were actually winning that battle.

@@KalashVodka175 It is lucky for her, that the courageous Footmen under her command had more stomach for violence than her, and could carry the day to victory despite her disgusting incompetence. Had it turned out to be a defeat, I would want her Hung and gibbeted from the walls of the nearest allied fortress; for all other officers and men at arms under the banner of her Majesty to see and learn. So far for the one supposedly in charge of the Crusader Order, designed to keep the rest up to standard; it would be fitting for her punishment to be a lesson. However, as it was a victory at the end, my judgment stands: Stripping of all ranks, privileges and titles, and reassignment to the Penal Battalions.
