Music is more than this here. This here is only useless sound A synthesizer, and software, and it takes me about 12 hours to get something like that done. Some somewhat talented woman then puts her corresponding voice over it, replacing what I had previously provided with artificial singing.

I am not Muslim. I am not Christian. I am not religious in any way. I have seen too much death and destruction in the name of religion over the centuries of history. What I cherish is the strong, pure and powerful message found in music. This is pure and powerful in its expression of human emotion and experience. If we all listen with our ears and an open minds, there is no way we can miss the absolute beauty of this performance.

you know not what you are and have never seen any death in the name of any religion. the person who coined that quote "in the name of religion" that you regurgitated did so to ultimately try and discredit any form of religion. humans have a dark nature about themselves just as the world that gave birth to them, and it's for this reason only why they inact the atrocities that they do. your feeble attempt to try and disguise yourself as something with your long speech just goes to show how deep the darkness is. "if we all listen" to what, the unnecessary suffering of those in war ravaged countries by the hands of others in so called power with their long speeches? if you're wondering what gave you away, it was your use of the word "i".

@@darlenecannon2873 No harm, but some people will absolutely take DNA memories to mean literally that: Memories held within DNA. Heritage and why ancient music connects with us is absolutely the realm of anthropology, and where science meets mystical thought, IMO. We should support their endeavors so we can one day understand these connections. Of course it's wrong some times, it's a science based on several hundred thousand years of natural and human interference. The difference is that sciences admit their mistakes and update their records as new evidence comes forth. This is the sign of a trustworthy system, not misleading information.

@lingyjennifer8399 Awww thanks! Great point! Many people don't know this and why certain freqencies and harmonics in music have powerful energy. BTW, Mozart wrote for A422. There was a desire for "brighter" music later and it was raised as high as 450, but singers rebelled. A440 was a basically contrived medium that was rounded up. Somewhat interestingly, orchestras tend to naturally go sharp and stabilize on A444 when they tune to A440 which just isn't a natural harmonic.

Her singing is amazing. Being an Indian it reminds me of "Aalaap" (opening section of a vocal performance in Indian classical music) however i have heard similar style in other global music as well (including Opera). Aalaap as a technique that came to prominence when Amir Khusro, a Persian, incorporated it along with "Jor" and "Jhala". Also Indian classical music (along with Kathak and a few musical instruments like Santoor) was heavily influenced by Persian and Arabic music over the last few hundred years. So I think this is a triumph of multiple cultures contributing to this wonderful fusion music.
