Those forms they used at the end is Voll Stern Dich is similar to the move Ishida used against Mayuri when he took off the glove. It's the quincies final transformation their version of bankai you could say. They just weren't able to use it at the time because they had the stolen bankais in the way.

this is info for Scene ichigo at the end of EPs 16. Yhwach's almighty eyes are like a clone of the Soul King's almighty because Yhwach is his son. Yhwach thinks everything is under the control of his almighty eye, but everyone including the real Yhwach is under the control of the Spirit King's almighty eye. in essence ichigo is the plan of the almighty Spirit King

Shinji's Bankai never revealed in the manga actually. It was revealed in novel CFYOW (Cant fear your own world) its a story after this quincy war. His Shikai is reversing directions and his Bankai reversing emotions (kind of). Whoever is in his bankai range just forget who is enemy and who is ally and go crazy and start to attack everybody they see. It was so powerful so soul society actually banned his bankai. Only Aizen, Ichigo and couple people can resist its power according to novels.

It seems like they're further clarifying things only touched on in the light novels. I hope we get some further clarification from Ichibe or something when Ichigo returns. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted to hold off on the juicy bits until the next cour.

So the end credit scenes are stuff that was explained in the light novels. Most of the manga readers probably didn’t read them but it’s stuff that wasn’t in the manga either. At least for the most part, so I’m excited to see how they continue and build upon it cause it makes sense when you know and think about it Also remember in part 1 when Quilge Opie used his transformation against the 3 girl arrancars and Ichigo. That’s what they all just got back basically
