Dear Global Window and all the other media houses, thank you for the social awareness and news that you bring us. I don't know if you'll even notice this request, but if you do, could you please highlight about those armoured vehicles that brings money for the SBI main branch bank (I don't know what they are called) near the Commissioner of Police's office everyday? Those armoured vehicles occupy half of the road, that also during the peak hours in the morning, which also contributes a lot to the traffic jam, along with the potholes along that stretch of the road. Request to the Traffic Police at the Traffic Island We understand the need to keep traffic moving efficiently, but when we encounter potholes, we prefer to drive slowly for safety specially near dhobinala and bata chariali. However, some officers signal us to speed up and even shout or whistle at us to move faster. It sometimes feels like we're expected to drive through these potholes in dhobinala and bata chariali as if we're in a scene from Fast and Furious. We'd appreciate it if they could allow us to proceed cautiously in such situations to avoid potential damage or accidents. 😊🙏🏻

That said, I only wish similar road conditions if not worst, can be made public and a few places are, below the flyover both sides of the rail tracks, Bata charali, almost the whole of overbridge and one major perennial eyesore maybe the road conditions in our state section of Dilai and Manja highway. 🙏

Potholes are one obstacle course. Supplemented by the "speed breakers", which are monstrocities across the roads. Vehicles has broken down while crossing the "speed breakers". Why can't speed breakers be made more technically with proper slopes?

Bad roads are usually the result of poor maintenance, cheap materials, and no proper drainage. When there's no drainage water builds up weakens the road and creates potholes which leads to more accidents and costly fixes. Add in heavy traffic and poor planning and the roads just keep getting worse. A good drainage system and regular upkeep can go a long way in keeping roads safer and smoother for everyone.
