I agree that proxy teacher problems in Nagaland should be checked thoroughly. However, we also witnessed that many govt teachers are not paid in time. Their salaries are paid only after several months (4-5 months) and as such some of those teachers indulge themselves in other works for eg. Labour works or businesses to feed their families. Therefore I believe that the concerned department should address both the issues and not only focus on proximity but also fairness for the teachers so that such problems don't arise again in the near future.( Personal thought)

EVERYONE IS TELLING ABOUT PROXY TEACHER. GENUINE TEACHERS ARE ALREADY IN BALANCE AFTER SERVING 15-20 YEARS IN THE SAME SCHOOL AND SAME LOCATION. THEREFORE, IN MANY CASES, PROXY TEACHERS ARE MORE ACTIVE, MORE QUALIFIED, MORE SINCERE AND SPARE MORE TIME THAN THE GENUINE TEACHERS. MARK MY WORD

A friend of mine is an SSA teacher deployed in his home district tho his entire family stays in Dimapur. He hardly sees his wife and kids once a month as he stays at his posting place. Cos of some corrupt individuals who employ proxies, the entire teaching community gets a bad rep. I hope the erring individuals are given sukha discharge to curb this menace.

That's good. Genuine teachers are already in balance after some 15 years of serving in the same location. If proxy teacher is serving, they have no balance instead they are very active moreover, proxy teachers are more qualified than the genuine teacher. I am telling the truth.

Infact, wellness and Medical sub centres are not very important and necessary in place like Dimapur and Kohima where there's already enough hospitals and medical facilities. There are many villages in the state without having even a single medical sub centre but those are ignoring. The government is wasting development by putting at the same place again and again instead of focusing on the real needing places.

What about other dept. They are not govt. employee? If this policies are implemented only to teachers thier salaries must be enhance and extra increment should be provided to them after that this policy will came into good conclusion if not one day or the other it will became failure.

Just a dialogue can't do anything it's all practices from since 2006 and real appointment of teachers is not in station. The real appointment teacher are on holiday weakened spending holiday in Switzerland, and many countries tour during this winter break. 😅😅😅

Just my opinion/what I have heard/witnessed... Don't always blame proxy teachers in Nagaland but first of all, the Nagaland govt. should keep in mind that teachers salary should pay on time, so that the problem will be erased. How can anyone serve school or perform duty without salary?? Nagaland govt. should take this seriously. Think twice before you judge someone.

Talks about proxy teachers when there is no vacancy post for primary teachers for a decade. Diploma holders will surely opt for proxy teachers if given a chance. If he/she is well qualified for teaching then there's no room for complaint as there is no teachers vacancy post because at the end of the day they get diploma certificate to teach. Ironically proxy teachers are more qualified and sincere.
