DMR Radio & Hotspot On The Cheap!

This is great gentle introduction to the digital side of Amateur radio which seems to be really taking off. Anyone thinking about exploring the idea of getting involved, be it a seasoned Ham used to RF and HF or a newly licensed beginner can often hit an explosion of new terms, hardware, software, cables, and can quickly become a bit overwhelming and even puts some people off. This video is informative, articulate and in plain language. Look forward to the radio comparison video 👍

$500!!!!! For a hotspot? They cost less than $30 to make. I'll bet they have not sold any of them?. I usually by my boards from Amazon and add a RPi Zero 2W to them for a total cost of about $30.

Amateur Radio ThumbDV ($120) plus BlueDV (free) plus windows pc will get you on DMR, DStar, Fusion, and NXDN!

You can also connect a hotspot with BlueDV. It worked for me.
