In theory, you can expect about 12% increase in RPM, by changing from 11x6apc to 10x7apc. But definitely a tuned pipe will make that short stroke engine shine.

Recommend a APC 9x9 or 9x10 Prop it like you would any car engine type for speed flying. What is the exhaust timing on this one? With the APC 11x6 only 68 mph pitch speed / 6 lbs thrust 1.1hp. good for break in runs that's about it. Prop it to unload in the air at 19k should last for years. Down wind diving to level pass: 9x9 at 20k rpm / 170.4 mph pitch speed. Sweet running engine Dave! I bet it can top out a little more with some fine tuning. There is a KZbinr name BOTAJELL that is a Novarossi engine fanatic. I would suggest maybe picking his brain on getting most out of your engine. Even though he is a car guy he may have some insight on the 57.
