Hi Shelby I just found your channel about a week ago I'm trying to catch up 😁 Although that 90% of what you say I already know there's still a lot of things I don't. I just got into mycology about a year ago and I love it and so interesting I've always loved gardening but this is a whole new area.. I have to say that psilocybin has helped me out tremendously in all aspects of my life I've only gotten into it for self healing. I've noticed a huge change in my life my priorities are in order. It's actually motivated me to start working out and being more self aware of my health. I can't imagine any other substance on the planet that actually improves your life instead of the other way around it truly is an amazing and magical gift we as humans were given.. and it's a shame that it has been suppressed for so long . That's why I really respect and very excited that people like you are out there with educating all of us.. next to Paul I believe you are my favorite now 😁

I started smoking DMT regularly in 2003 in Australia, and has probably had hundreds of trips since over the last two decades. Can confirm all of this and more. That third hit, especially when you thing you don't need it, really takes you there. Funniest time I was smoking by myself, and suddenly I could feel these elves in my teeth and gums, kind of like pin pricks and weird probing... my response to this was to ask (in my head): "what are you doing in my teeth?!" And without an hesitation, they said "Shut up and concentrate, we've always been in your teeth." Okay then, Shall we continue? Sheesh. I try to smoke alone, cause for me the most effective way to get the full experience is to open my mouth in a perma-yawn, roll my eyes back inside closed eyelids to stare at my third eye as best I can, and enter into a kind of roaring psychedelic rocket ship. Looks weird to anyone on the outside, but super effective. See: Xochipilli (Aztec God of tripping) statue images. Have fun ya'll, stay safe. Good headspace and keep water nearby (don't ask why, just do it. I don't know, but they like it.)

I remember Terrence's description of the machine elves as "bejeweled, self dribbling basketballs." In my experience every time I see depictions of these "entities" there seems to be a lot of use of the artwork of Alex Grey. It seems that they tend to be covered in "eyes" and this reminds me of Biblically accurate depictions of "angels" in which a typical description is "wheels within wheels and the wheels are patterned with eyes." I wonder if there is a connection between Machine Elves and Biblical Angels.

My first experience smoking dmt is the only time I've "blasted off". But that's also because it's a bit overwhelming for me and I'm not interested in going there again quite yet. The come on was quick and my friends headlamps were super bright and the colorful, fractal visuals were too stimulating for me. I crawled along the forest floor for a few feet and bowed my head to the earth. I stayed like that for the duration of my trip. I feel it shot my Astral body underground. There, in the dark cavernous space below me, I encountered one of them. They reminded me of a gremlin elf, but I wasn't afraid. They communicated telepathically and using logos. I had finished reading The Spirit Molecule just days before this experience. As I felt myself leaving the ground and traveling back up into my body I repeated out loud and over and over again to the elf "thank you, I love you, goodbye". That was it. Mind blown. My concept of "reality" dumped on it's head. It was awesome. We live in a multidimensional reality and our thoughts and emotions are more powerful than those who have been in control of the masses want us to realize. That's why these substances are illegal.

I have met countless ineffable entities in hyperspace, and only once I experienced the machine elves. If you have not met them, they are entirely different from what you imagine when you hear the phrase however there is simply no other way to describe these beings. They are mechanical, geometric, sentient, and more real than real. From my experience they seemed to be guardians to the reincarnation jungle I visited. Many people experience other entities and call them the machine elves, such as the jesters or insectoids, however McKenna was talking about something very specific that took me many breakthroughs to encounter

My first DMT trip was really interesting, I had made it not long before and had finally gotten the chance to have the experience, I went out into my backyard and it was a beautiful sunny day and sandwiched between two layers of weed I smoked my DMT and suddenly every perceivable Point started to melt into each other while still keeping the overall image intact then these rectangular geometric patterns started to form with a red filter like curtain over everything and as I looked to my right I noticed a tree noticing me suddenly being aware that it's able to notice me. Then I said the words "holyfuck holyfuck this stuff is not a game and needs to be respected." I only took one hit so I didn't go unconscious or experience other realms but I would say I did experience more of this realm.

I encountered these “entities” on “Salvia Divinorum.” What struck me was the clarity of their voice, which was audible. Initially I thought there were two people in another room (no one else was present). They definitely seemed to “want” me “there” and to go deeper into their “world.” I was somewhat resistant to going deeper and they seemed to resent that, eventually no longer being present, even on subsequent trips. No one can be certain, but they certainly seemed like autonomous conscious personalities.
@Old299dfk Жыл бұрын
Maybe it's a good job you didn't go deeper. But I've seen this a lot - in fact, I can't actually recall a story where somebody 'did' go to them. But people always say like the other entities don't like to be turned down, and sometimes even turn nasty. I wonder what's down that road... Maybe that's something better left unknown.

I avoided him and my surroundings changed to a small room with a door, window, and a table with orange /yellow horizontal zigzag coloring. When I sat up I looked at my friend and I began to tell him about the outside presence. Damage control should also be highly discussed if humans are going to go forward with psychedelics. There is a small risk of underlying psychological issues which might become activated by psychedelic drugs. Issues such as depression, schizophrenia, bipolar issues, anxiety amongst others. All drugs, legal and illegal should be fully researched and respected before a person tries them. I am not trying to rain on anyones parade, just trying to remind people to do their research first. If you or your family has any history of psychological issues, remaining sober might be your best drug of choice.
@NyreeAlana10 ай бұрын
Scientific research is so important, but it's slow, way too slow for some of us suffering daily from treatment resistant mental illnesses. Some of us have no choice but to seek to treat ourselves. Doing one's own research, from what is available from scientific studies and from anecdotal reports is important and if possible starting the journey at a legal retreat. But you're not wrong, in there being a small psychosis risk, that we don't yet know enough about. It's about weighing the risk versus benefits, which one needs to do any time they take any drug, including over the counter anti-inflammatory meds and many other highly accessible drugs, different people may experience different side effects. And many legal pharmaceuticals have a higher chance of death, for instance, than psychedelics.

In the book, DMT: The Spirit Molecule, the author describes how a number of subjects in his clinical trials during their trips saw something like a circus, in which everything was somehow soft and floppy looking. I was startled to read that, because once, in my childhood, I had a dream in which I saw _exactly_ that -- and this was perfectly ordinary sleep, no drugs involved! What made it especially strange was that my mother's clock radio was playing classical guitar music, which I could somehow hear even though I was asleep, and sounded really incongruous with a the floppy circus visuals! Meanwhile, as an adult now working with psilocybin (never DMT), In my first several trips ai only saw shapes, patterns and colors that were completely abstract. After a number of trips, however, I did begin to see letters that look similar to those that appear in the Grey's psychedelic-inspired art -- though mine are in cursive or italic, not block letters. And, in one recent trip, while going through what felt like different dimensions of existence, at once point I saw something that appeared as some mind of elaborate mechanism, protruding from a dark, blue-black wall. That would be the closest I've ever seen to a mechanical elf. Otherwise, the only entities I've seen were a group of six beings that appeared in mid-air, of a sort of mermaid or seal-like shape, but with no fins visible, in blue and gold, all smiling.

I've never done DMT and I'd love to try it one day, but I'ma very spiritual person and i thinki know exactly what these beings are. They're spirit guides (ancestors, soul parents, soulmates, guardian angels, gods, goddesses, etc). I say this because outside of drugs, I've connected with my spirit guides and I've felt exactly what is described in this video, both the "good" and "bad" and I've had mushrooms before and felt connected to them. I think when people say they felt negatively judged, it's because they couldn't take the truth behind what was being said. Spirit guides will sometimes tell you things you don't want to hear because your pride is in the way of accepting it. But they mean love by it. This would take me a long time to explain how i know this but basically the spirit world is full of infinite possibilities and it's on a higher dimension than we are at human level. When we raise our vibrations, we get closer to being like them and they teach you how to do this in your everyday life and understand it'll take time. As we align with unconditional love, we reach a higher vibe that allows us to leave the human form. Anyway i can go all day about this. But I'd really love to try DMT.

My tip is make your own extraction from root bark, using one of the guides on dmt nexus. I would not buy a substance like this without at the very least also owning a drug test kit. If you make your own, you can feel safe in the knowledge that you are sure you're taking the thing you want to take (if that makes sense). That also helps a lot with the tripping itself.
@AyanaSioux2 жыл бұрын
@@marcingolab6227 I'd love to make it. What bark and how can i get it?
@marcingolab62272 жыл бұрын
@@AyanaSioux You need either Mimosa Hostilis root bark or Acacia Confusa root bark. You must check the law for where you live since chances are Acacia Confusa is 100% legal to get wherea Mimosa Hostilis is banned in some countries (the latter is far easier to extract from though; I had to go with ACRB to not sweat about customs intercepting my package). I would also advise that you look for vendors who sell powdered root bark since you'll have to grind it yourself if you get it shredded, and that might be a bit much for the spice/coffee grinder you own. Other than that, before you do anything, head on over to dmt nexus and read up on the whole process (they host many recipes, called "teks", for extracting various forms of dmt from both types of root bark; they also have a forum with great tips). It's a lot of manual work and you have to understand the chemicals you'll be using to avoid hurting yourself (they are all available very easily at hardware stores and aren't exactly lethal, but you gotta respect yourself; also it's just stupid to risk any sort of personal harm during a process that is safe with the right precautions; I am mostly refering to lye and solvents). The whole thing might take 2-3 days, but the most laborious parts might total to about 6-8 hours, the rest is just waiting for the solvent to evaporate or for the molecule to crystalize in the freezer. Get more root bark than you want, in case your first extraction attempt fails. I wish you all the best and stay safe!

I was happy despite some issues from my time in the army. then everything changed in an instant when I was cooking dinner and was presented with a situation where my baby girl dies in my arms as I was doing cpr and yelling at 911 to hurry.i have had a lot of problems since then and have always thought psychedelic medicine is the only way I'll be able to recover the piece of me that was so badly injured that day. Nothing has worked other than meditation, and that's only a bandaid it seems. The laws surrounding this topic have kept me in pain and suffering and I just wish I could get help letting go of what I've been harboring for so long. any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated. I love your channel by the way, keep up the good work and continue spreading information and hope to people like me.

I have some. I’ve done it about 9 times and haven’t in about almost 2 years. Idk why it was always a wonderful journey. It’s like a quantum experience. And I always saw them more of gnomes not elves but again it’s always hard to remember it fully.

I don't know about others but I have encountered machinery that changes And communicates with me through visual pictures. I once ate a high dose of mushrooms and then did dmt and the machine elves took me into a dimension where I fell into myself hundreds of times, in a second I was in there for hours And then when it wouldn't stop they taught me how to Focus and use breathing to control it and come back out.

These beings mostly ignore me and seem surprised when I can get them to look at me...my studio did turn into a jeweled castle of light though. I think the entities are in some other dimension and notice our presence much like we might notice a cat passing through the room. I have only on occasion felt malice and it was is when I am demanding their attention. I want to know sometimes why they have awoken me from my sleep. Apparently they ;have projects using my studio like to transport souls to other worlds. The strangest thing is to experience this all in my own room which I recognize as my studio only with a number of different visitors. Now I wake up nightly to my studio inhabited by these various creatures who are rustling around in my desk or kitchen but mostly my windows and doorways all without the use of dmt, lsd or mushrooms. I have opened the door to another world and cannot shut it nor keep these entities out. Have a nice day.

Fascinating topic . The human mind is infinite. I would have to research DMT before taking the stuff . The trip only last fifteen minutes and that's good because it take you to another dimension which is frightening.

Everybody that talks about Psychedelics insists on using the word "Hallucinations" but i personally would rather like for us to come up with another word, for example Visionary Phenomena/External/internal visual projection and U name it(I just came up with these on the spot now but we can do better), as for ME "Hallucinations" means something that looks REAL but is NOT, just like when you take Deliriants like Datura or such where you can see insects crawling on your skin but everything else looks perfectly fine, or when you have a high fever and see a monster or such. THAT is "Hallucinations" for ME. What you visually(internally/externally) experience on Psychedelics is not something that does not exist, but rather exists in other dimensions/planes of existence OR inside your brain. Nothing you see while fully sober is "real" anyway, but rather just the brains interpretation of the signals coming from the senses, baked and twisted to something comprehensible, but the reason behind why "Qualia" is set at specific things and not different is something we can never even start to understand either. Cheers

The elf Hallucination could be that people already know about these stories so when they have one of these trips they make it up they too saw it. I can't deny they saw something, but I trust someone that is not into DMT and knows nothing about what people hallucinate to give me a true perspective.

Interesting. I was woken up n a dream once by a deity. So I wasn't sure if I was lucid dreaming and made a bunch of dmt at the time, or if it was a mystical experience. You said the mind can't apprehend anything new in a trip, everything is a reconstructions of previous experience. So you've answered my question- was it a dream or a mystical experience? What prompted me to think it was mystical was seeing colors and hues I had never seen before and hearing sounds I had never seen before as well as experience other things for the first time.

Interesting comment, that these things can only be morphs of things we already know or have experienced. However, very importantly, that caveat is NOT, and I repeat, NOT only things we are AWARE of ! There is an entire library of emotions and visions we have had while asleep that is available. And remember we only dream to keep from going mad while we are awake. All bets are off if we include the book of dreams in this package.

Nice general info. The most profound DMT trip report that I have ever heard of, did not involve entities at all. It's the high dose experience, described (in videos of its own) by Patrizio Domingues from the movie The Spirit Molecule...

@UnderBridge Rock I've never tried it, just done lsd, mdma, morning glory and few other things so far. Yet, I think you're probably right. I haven't done DMT but have had 2 ceremonies with 5-DMT both times I had a White Out and I was gone for an hour. Has anyone else had this experience or similar.. on my 2nd Desert Dweller Ceremony I remember the last 2 minutes.. I was being Flushed with Pure White Light or LOVE LIGHT! It was So powerful and intense I had to ask them to turn it down. I also had a desperate urge to tell the Felicitators/ Priestesses a message but as I was quenching my dier need for water the message was extracted or taken back and was no longer in my memory.

I can get magic mushrooms from retail stores on major streets here in Vancouver. It's decriminalized. I could go to an Ayahuasca retreat to try that (I haven't yet but I will). But I have no idea how to get DMT and I really REALLY want to try it. I'm willing to go anywhere. I don't want to order it through mail order because if caught I'll get a criminal record which will prevent me from travelling and that's my favorite thing to do. I'd die if I can't travel to see the world anymore.

I disagree with Dr. Strassman. When we go from 9 months of almost complete darkness, a mostly consistent warm temperature, and low, muffled sounds to bright lights and colors, cold air, loud sounds, smells and tastes for the first time ever, we are experiencing something the components of which didn't exist in our mind before.
@andrewamann28212 жыл бұрын
I think that his point was that the human mind cannot conceptualize something, ex nihilo, without a set of outside reference points, be they experiential, something that you've seen or done, or conceptual, something you've read or heard about. I've yet to see an example that demonstrates otherwise. That's not to say that we cannot experience something for which we have no parallels, but, as we gain experiences in life, we also add to our available points of reference. Anything "new" that we come up with is simply a novel way of connecting these points.

@@Kristian179 Listening to music can enhance a trip but I wouldn't say it steers it in any direction. State of mind, amount taken, environment and other factors set the tone for your journey. @@Kristian179 I personally don't like music with dmt . The few times I had music playing and went a little deeper than I had planed the music became a hindrance. It all turns to gobbledygook during a breakthrough and it's quite annoying in my opinion. LSD on the other hand music is a must ✌
