Couldn't use that in Florida,would be putting too many turns and ruts in ground. And I could get done faster and neater with line trimmer

each string is replaced individually ? does it come with extra string ?

Each string is replaced individually, yes. It is a pretty quick procedure, you pull the worn string through to the center of the hub, then slide the new string in, give it a tug to seat it in place, then you are ready to go. Do y’all have edger adapter ??? Also would this work on tractor riding mower I’ve got a Troy built 42”

Hello, thanks for your interest. We apologize for the long delay in response. We have been very short on help. Unfortunately we do not have an edger at this time. We suggest to put the residential model trimmers, as well as the 16s the commercial model onto any zero turn above 48" deck. With decks smaller than 48", it is too tight of a fit. DMT
