I know everyone here panicking like how I was. You’re trying to study the day for one of the most important test that you will ever take. I just took mine 30 minutes ago, and I passed. Besides studying, you have to pray, and fully believe you will pass, and you will; you have my word. Whoever is reading this, you will pass. Don’t let me down :). I’m 15, whoever is reading this I believe in you update: it’s been more than a year now, i’m taking my driving exam june 28th 2021, i’m a little nervous, but i feel ready. update: i took the test today, i passed. it really was not that difficult, but i forgot a few things and got some points taken off, but still passed. the instructor was kind of strict, but i passed. it’s really not that hard. don’t worry. once you start driving, everything is normal, and the test is over, don’t overthink it. for anyone who’s going to take the test, don’t worry. ;)

Yo. I have finished my permit test and I passed! I would like to ease y’all minds by saying it is not that hard. My best advice is to slow down, and think logically through the questions. Even if you don’t know the answer, you can deduce a viable answer. Also, driving isn’t that bad! It should definitely be taken seriously and can be scary at points but it shouldn’t be too bad. After 2 fails I finally got my license! It's pretty easy for the evaluator to fail you for simple mistakes so keep your head up if it happens. Failure doesn't necessarily mean you're a bad driver. Keep practicing and go at it again. You're bound to get someone who believes in you. But for me I took a step further by contacting a private license and professional dmv agent that helped me to write a provisional letter to bypass the test drive and i was given a provisional driver's license which will last for 12 months. I got a license now and it will serve for 1 year then I renew again. My little advice. * If you think are too nervous for the test drive then you can easily switch to a provisional driver's license which you won't need to test drive.

I'm gonna be 27 and still don't have my license because my family always keeps me inside the house. Luckily I applied for jobs to find my way out of this cage. They only taught me to drive i neighbourhoods and shame me for not getting a license like my younger cousin who's mom is less strict. To everyone freaking out abt their test i just did mine a few days ago ( i passed) but i was freaking out too knowing these questions is important but these tips ultimately helped me pass Tell urself u can do it and give urself a pep talk b4 ur test Imagine holding ur license and let the happiness fill u up Take ur time!! Dont rush on the test take ur time to think but dont overthink too much! Skip the questions u really dont know if u get the rest u wont even have to do those questions Most importantly god forbid u fail but if u do remember its not the end of the world! Think of it as a learning experience and remember ur not the only one! Good luck everyone!!

I took mine today and passed! Only took me 5 mins to get through the test nervous and all. I prayed before and during the test, believed I will passed and I studied for days straight even while I was in the line today at dmv to take the test! Pray, study, take notes, read every page in the handbook, take online practice test as much as you have to untill you’re fully confident and comfortable that you’ll pass! Also take small breaks while you’re studying, and pray more! And you’ll pass no doubt!:))

Studying and praying is what I’ve been doing. I’ve taken the online practice tests 16 times today lol tomorrow I am gonna study the handbook all evening after work. Then I take the test Friday morning. I’m so nervous. I’ve been without a license for 6 months over something stupid I did a year ago (possession charge) I’ve been walking to work, to the grocery store, and to visit nearby family. The test will give mini scenarios and the answers will be so obvious. Use the process of elimination and you will 9 times out of 10 arrive at the right answer. *If you study these topics, then you should be good:* - Memorize the “What Is The Speed Limit...” in County Roads, Freeways, School Zone a etc. Questions. - Memorize the “Do Not Park Within ____ Feet of a...” Curb, Railroad, Traffic Light, Fire Hydrant etc. Questions. - Memorize the “Notify......within ___ Days” questions. (Name Change, Address Change, Filing Accident Report etc.) - Memorize The Signs and What Their Colors Mean. (Regulatory Signs, Guide Signs, Service Signs, Recreational Signs, and Warning Signs) - Memorize the illegal Alcohol and Marijuana numbers for both teens and adults. I’m pretty sure this is gonna be on every single person’s test. The part that you should study just in case is the penalties for violating these laws. So study the “How long will license be revoked if....” questions - Know about the Headlights (When to turn on high beam, When to dim the high beams, What times they’re supposed to be on etc, What situations to turn highbeams off.) - Memorize The Safety Procedures. (What to do in a skid, What to do when your brakes fail, What to do when hydroplaning, What to do in deep waters, What to do when oncoming car has high beam headlights etc.) Edit: Passed my driver’s test with an 85%

What helped me pass , was going onto the dmv website and doing the test they had. They stated on the website all the questions they would be asking you would be on the test. So watching these videos and testing on the site was a great help 👍 hope everyone who is going to take it passes !! I failed it before and it wasn’t a good feeling. I was super hyped when I passed.

hey y’all, i too got 0 answers when it came to what to study. so i’m here with some tips: -read the handbook ! but don’t rely solely on it (i skimmed the unimportant parts) -DO THE ONLINE DMV PRACTICE TESTS! i got 100% on all of the ones available before i let myself move on. -get the dmv app, your state usually has one, and honestly it covers all the questions you could possibly need. i studied this, and the app dmv genie, and these two combined carried me -don’t stress! i overstudied and was freaking out and when i got there, i realized the test was super easy -if you don’t know the answer, don’t overthink it, these questions were made to be common sense and that’s it! if you have more questions i’m happy to answer, i studied all this consistently in 2 days and passed on the first try. good luck to all of you and take it easy :)!

For people out there like me who have to take the test soon, I wanted to share some pieces of advice that are helping me calm down about it. A bad habit of mine and many others out there is overthinking things, and making things out to be more complicated than they really are. A great piece of advice that my stepmother shared with me is, “Don’t second guess yourself; if you’ve thought through it and know that you have the right answer, don’t doubt yourself and think again. That’s usually when you end up picking the wrong answer.” This goes without saying, but remember to study. A great app that I’ve been using myself is called “DMV Genie Permit Test Practice”. You get to select your state the first time you boot it up, and it gives a diverse and wide range of questions. Unfortunately, a lot of the greater features (such as a much wider range of questions and the ability to download the driver’s manual to the app) are locked behind a ten dollar pay wall. I was willing to pay it because I wanted to make sure I was 100% ready (and I do think that it’s worth it in the end), but if you are not able to afford it, there is still practice tests online, or other apps and videos like this one. While you’re in the car with an adult who is driving (such as your mom, dad, grandpa/grandma, etc.), ask them questions about the rules of the road, such as, “What does that sign mean?” or “Why are we stopping here?” and others. My parents even quiz me themselves from time to time to ensure that I am ready. And for those who are religious, this Bible verse has always helped me to calm down about things such as this: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understandings. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” While you should still put in the work and effort to prepare for the test, do not be afraid to rely on God to help you ease your fears and anxieties. And for those who do not believe in God (and this applies to everyone either way) just have confidence in yourself! We all have the ability to pass this test. The only thing holding us back are the walls and limitations that we build for ourselves, so break through them and breeze through that test (I don’t think it will be as hard as a lot of us think it will be). Good luck, and stay confident.

I took my test a couple of weeks ago and I can say MOST of these questions were not on my test. The best advice I can give you is to literally look up 'practice permit test' online and take many different ones (as many as you can and make sure its from your state). I only studied a few days before my test and passed the first time, I freaked out a lot but you just have to have confidence in yourself and try not to be so nervous, so good luck to anyone who's gonna take it:)

I found it misleading how many answers were written as one thing but the voice said another- like how at 8:19 B says "diamond-shaped", but the speaker says B is "inverted triangular red" and that D is "diamond-shaped", even though the writing for D is "inverted triangular red." The writing and speaker are swapped, and the answers for the letters are using the speaker's answer key and not the writing's. The checkmark checks the letter the speaker said even if the writing is wrong for that check. Here, the correct written answer is B- "diamond-shaped," but the check is on D because the speaker said D was diamond-shaped. A deaf person would be pretty confused about why the answer is D. This happens in many other questions too. Otherwise, looking past those errors, useful test!

Let me explain: The letter that the voice claims to go with this answer will be innacurate, but the answer itself is correct. So, at 8:35, the answer is diamond-shaped, which the voice says, but the voice actually says "D- diamond shaped." Ignore the "D" part that the voice says (as the text says "diamond-shaped" is B, not D). Just listen to the *ANSWER* part, which in this case, is "diamond shaped."

I turned 15 last July and just passed my test on the first try today... I was super nervous at first because I hadn't studied nearly as hard as my parents urged me too (I should have... Don't get me wrong, studying is key) but I'm sooo happy now. Keep rereading the drivers manual, take practice tests, watch these videos and you should do well! No pressure though, just keep calm and your results will be much better. I was extremely nervous at first because I had gotten 5 wrong before even halfway through the test, but when I calmed down and thought logically through each and every answer I got every question right since. Tips: Study HARD (unlike me...), Have confidence in yourself; You're amazing!!! Pray, if you believe in God (I prayed many many times before and during the test, I genuinely believe it helped) and don't rush. Take your time, because for me at least I could be in there for a max of 7 hours and didn't even need 30 minutes. Everyone works at their own pace. I wish all of you luck!!! 😊

I’ll be honest… it took the fourth time for me to pass. Really all the questions are in the booklet that u are given with. The questions in this video are helpful for some questions on the test but not all, (at least in my state). For myself it was easier reading the book even tho I didn’t have the motivation. Srry just sharing my story. GOOD-LUCK TO ALL PEOPLE WHO ARE GOING TO TAKE THE PERM TEST!! (Tip for reading the booklet: if u don’t have motivation to read it… stay up a little late a listen to music while reading…I find it best to study at night so it is easier to remember the next day). Srry I talk toooooo much

My advice? if the answer isn't any others, just select something with pedestrians. Pedestrians are always right. Also, it's fairly easy! i'm getting mine in a bit and i'm confident ill pass. Don't stress if you know the common stuff.
