Good to see Ruebon recognises how great Jeeps are. I watched a video a little while ago where he called a JL a JK. Now he has a JT he understands. My JL Rubicon is the most capable 4x4 I've ever owned.
@harrywalker968 Жыл бұрын
rubicon, 4.1, t case, twin locked, std. downside, fit & weld all suspension steering brkts, with thicker steel ones,, available on line.. do not fit bigger than 35,s. lengthen front & rear w/base,,it helps.. if it has alloy knuckles, replace with cast iron.. they break..& the b/joints are weak.. get a slip yoke eliminator.. ill keep my s/duty, thanks..&, 75 highboy..

Good seeing you running your JT.... Being you Ruben I'm not surprised crunching R&P if it's lower from 4:10 /4:56 to small teeth on pinion gear and ring gears. My Comanche has 3:54 great for roads use, TJ Unlimited is 3:73 not bad with 31-33s XJ running 4:56 locked w 33s-35s great for rocks JT 4:10 not doing to badly unless towing a ton or more behind it. Yeah, I might have a Jeep thing..... solid axles, less to break.

Great to see the Vic High Country getting a bit of a plug I don't reckon you see it often enough represented, so much fun so many tracks beautiful part of the world. 👍 Don't let the fact they are wheeling giant heavily modified trucks turn you off though, I did both Billy Goats and Blue Rag recently with a convoy consisting of a 100 Series, 79 Series, 60 Series, Dmax, 2x Colorado's, Ford Everest(stock) and my Isuzu MUX and we accomplished both tracks without too much fuss. Honestly the sketchiest thing was all the nuts belting around in their Y62's like they where Colin McRae in a 22B.

Love to see Reuben and his positive attitude on the screen. Is it just me? In the beginning at 3:30 while the guys are talking on the radio, it seems the Jeep is the quietest car. Or is it just the mic?

Good review. Both great engines. Not a big difference in cost between the v6 and biturbo when looking at the XLT (entry level model for the v6). The other consideration is longevity - how will the more highly stressed 2L stack up long term when used for towing, compared to the bigger v6 - which will do it much easier. Very impressed with mine so far. Keep up the great vids 👍

Reuben, the jeep gladiator looks amazing, however it felt kinda incomplete without a roof rack. You know in order to mount a light bar (KC 6pro round lights match with the jeep round headlights), maxtrax mount, shovels instead of mounting them all with the RTT on the canopy. I'm just sharing my humble opinion, mate.

You should of know better. 37s and a super charger on the jl,jt jeeps don't go well together with 5.13 diff gears. Every jeep owner would of been watching this knowing you would blow the pinion...4.88 is the biggest any one should go with 37's and a supercharger. With the way you drive the 4.10 stock gears should of been left in.
@dirtymuddyweekends Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! Plenty of learnings to be had with the Jeep. We cannot wait!
@6226superhurricane Жыл бұрын
100% correct should've used 4.56 no lower than 4.88. it probably would suit him better without the supercharger because it's only taking away from offroad ability not adding to it.

jeep diffs are d30 & 35. they break.. a d44 is as good as a 9'' ford. fitted to corvettes..commodores.. if you watch u.s. vids,, you learn more.. a d44 is recomended for 35'' tyres.. no bigger.. plus, should not, be fitted to rear, like the gladiator.. a d60, should,,be in rear.. the v8 version, gets d60 diffs front rear.. best to fit ford s/duty diffs, they dont break.. i drive ford.. cos it works.. a ford 205 t.case will stand 400 hp.. yanks build, or used to, build, vehicles to the biggest engine power, ford 460, 440 hp. 1970.. only difference, is the input shaft.. japs build vehicle to drive out the factory.. ill keep my 1975 high boy, cut to swb, 5sp, 4w disc, twin locked. h/d . d44 front. d60 rear.. for sale on gtree.white..
