In one of his interviews he said he contemplated killing his mother cuz i hated that b" so its possible she detected his thoughts and thats why she sent him to several group homes. Beating him with a broom until 2 teeth came out was brutal punishment from a Jehovah Witness so there's probably a history of family abuse and mental illness.

When DMX cried, it reminded me of that song on his first album that started with a dog in the background whimpering. His mom put the blame on him and made him not have any self-esteem or any belief in himself. God obviously had a plan for DMX. This man literally said "There's always a gift in every bad situation. You just have to be strong enough to be willing to look for it." Dude is a true warrior. Respect coming from a person like me, who sadly grew up in this age of mumble rap, where the least creative ones are called artists.

I can genuinely tell you the color of your skin matters. I don't know when or where the rest of you were born but don't ever turn your back on what happened to black people in this country. Ever! As much as you think things have gotten better it's much worse than you think.

It does something to me because I raised two sons and I know I would give my life for them. And I listen to him, and I feel hurt for DMX, his pain. On top of that, his own mentor lace his weed with crack.. God needed DMX home with him. So many evil people around him Such a sweet soul, that has been abused, hurt so young.... Has the same demons around him.... He is trying really hard to get right... But can't because those same demoy that hurt him, tried to destroy him are around...We pray for our love one's to stay on earth with us. But we never say God your will not ours... He touched many... DMX was tired... He needed strong people to help him kick that drug habit... And if he didn't heal from the past... Who knows. I. Just saying....... I love some DMX... But you can see the pain that was on his face, his music, and his upbringing... My God he was a soldier who had to fight straight from the womb..... RIP DMX

What kind of mother would put their child in a boy's home. A child is always going to need their mother or father. But, what I love about this man he never gave up on his dream. His life times was a different time; than it is today. The generation today is spoil, and things are giving to much easier with materialistic technology with smart phones. DMX, and Waad had to hustle and flow to make it happen. If a man don't work he will not eat.

It started with the lack of love from his mother, and dude that was his Mentor that slipped him the "grimmy" which is what we call laced weed with crack. I had a cousin in Texas do me the same way. I never spoke to my cousin after that, to this day I never utter a word to dude for fear I will severely hurt him. That laced weed turned me into a person that is very observant and I have trust issues.

I'm loving BET right now for making these documentaries on these rap groups like no limit records and ruff Ryder's. This is important hip hop history on how these groups got started. DMX has been 1 of my favorite rappers since a young age. The 1st record of X I bought was a tape because CDs weren't even out yet. Yes I'm talking about the 90s. I'm 30 years old I grew up with this music. I'll never forget a couple of years back I got to see DMX perform in the house of blues. It was epic. A memory I'll never forget. U had to b there.

If u meant Its Dark And Hell Is Hot then yes CD's were definitely out. That was 98. Unless u meant his mixtapes sold locally.
