DMX XD521T Multi Purpose Ceiling Speaker Overview

I haven't seen an enclosure like that before! How does that even mount in the ceiling?

I know its odd and it probably had a tile brace that I did not get with this DMX speaker. The grill is friction fit made for an easy and quick install on the ceiling.

This Dollar Tree in the neighborhood I used to live in has DMX speakers but the logo is different to this one

Yeah. There is a Dollar Tree near me that also has these speakers. Unfortunately, they don’t actually use them.

A long time ago all of my local Dollar Tree locations used to play music on the speakers and then stopped one day. Now they just use the speakers for paging only whenever they make a page which is not that often like Target. Now that you brought up Dollar Tree there is one location that I recall seeing this exact speaker at as well that used to play music. My closest Dollar Tree that is literally around the corner has an odd setup which that location uses only Speco SPC15T horns for paging only. However six years back I remember going in one night few day before Christmas and there was Charismas music playing on the Speco SPC15T horns like a manager hooked up their phone to the amplifier using the KZbin Music feature. That was the only time I heard music playing out of those horn and this location is about seven years old.
