For the first tip, the props won't hurt you so you can go anywhere on the top, prone under the prop makes it difficult for enemy teams to see you that are around the chopper

Quick note on Dead Drops. They are buggy as hell, sometimes only working half the time. That being said, here's another tip, good for anyone but I do this in Solo's. When I find extra valuables, i.e., 3-plate vests, large backpacks, self-revives, even expensive items. I Dead Drop them all! Picking them up prevents another team from finding those items and potentially using them against me, and since campers are hunting Exfils regularly, ditch everything you can into the dead drops, minimize what you could lose and capitalize on much more experience and CD reduction.

The body disappears when the player leaves the game has been useful to me a few times, when my random squad mates who don't talk die and rage quit, I camp the bags and have on a few occasions got a full squad wipe, so don't rely on that meaning there isn't a third squad member or that the player was solo.

Its weird, like 90% of the time they are pretty easy, be a little tactical and they arnt a big deal but once in a while one will just absolutely shred me. 3 plates and I go down before I can react. Its weird.

I saw it happen 3 times today. First time around was because somebody was lost in the same denied ops area we were in, so we ended up with a 4 man squad and extracted that way. Second time was a player wanted to turn on their teammates while they were in a stronghold, so when they joined they, alongside my squad, blasted their former teammates. Third time was when I saw one of my teammates accept an invite to a squad while I was dead and they were trying to res me beforehand, but because they timed it too late I basically failed. I knew their intentions and I wish I could’ve gone with them.

You missed a tip: Hunt squad contracts will disappear when your the last squad left, use this as an indicator to know when you’re safe. However don’t rely on this too much, it’s very possible that all of the hunt contracts just got picked up and there’s still a squad left.

@@novatryshots if all of the hunt squads have been used up then you can safely put two and two together and probably guess that there’s not that many squads left on the map. In all of my time playing I’ve only came across all of the hunt squads being used up only once, and that’s cause of one of one of tier 5 black mous missions.

6 man squad is no joke. Had a game where I ended up on a 6 man squad. A lot of contracts handled and we elimated two teams… I can imagine u being in a full squad and u have 5 players shooting at cha. 😅 That was first time the proxy chat worked for me

Now if I could just find some people to team up with who arn’t dummies just running around collecting and shooting at everything insight thinking that’s the point and playing DMZ mode like it’s Warzone and Invasion mixed together and actually attempt to exfil that would be amazing. Twice I even had one of my mates kill me as I was trying to exfil WTF lol, i didnt think that was even possible, but I guess the lines blur when explosives are involved

Had a team just absolutely murder us yesterday... they were kind enough to add me to their squad when I was down. Not only got to exfil a mission item, but was able to exfil with a bunch of nice weps too. Thought that was pretty cool of them

Stowing more than one gas mask in your backpack will auto equip it when the previous one expires. Use that tip when fighting the chemist for the M13

There are also other building types like hospitals (buildings with a blue bar along the sides, that usually have lots of medical equipment (stims, self revive, revive pistol, bandages etc)

I got this 1. IA is harder than real players for no reason (Because no one asked for it) 2. 3 plate vests are impossible to find because no one thought they were easy to find. 3. Once you have a mission selected the needed items basically don’t exist. 4. Don’t enjoy your gear for too long because you will die after a couple matches 5. Players are toxic trust no one! As a primarily solo dmz'er, ive started using prisoner rescue missions, so i can leave the map without player aggro!!

@@TCraig00 honestly i did rescue hostage mission, the last 3 matches. Only had to fight my way out once, no it wasnt easy and maybe i was lucky, there were several heavily armoured ai coming at me. I mamaged to kill em, then picked up hostage and jumped out window and legged it towards the chopper. The other two times, there werent any ai, so i got away without a battle at all! Altho the last one i did, i could hear enemy ai, but probably blind luck that i got away without incident! Might be a totally different experience next time!

I am 99% sure you can see the enemy Exfil helicopter for a hostage contract. I trailed a team from one area to another when I heard on proxy chat that they were going for a hostage to Exfil. And when I got there a red "enemy" chopper landed that they were running towards to get into. But this would only be visible for players in the nearby vicinity and it would look like any other normal chopper dropping off reinforcements. 99%. Excellent video though. The one about bodies disappearing after the team wipe and leaves is huge.

Of course you can see it, it's just not on the map so people can't anticipate where you are going if you have the weapon case or something

But as people become more aware with the game and see you try to do a hostage contract with a weapon case, they will see the heli appear on the map and know what it is even though it's red. To say "you get your own private Exfil chopper nobody else can see on the map" isn't 100% true. They'll beat you to that red heli just like I beat this trio to theirs.

There is an unwritten rule: if you see someone leaving in a helicopter, don't kill him, wait a few minutes and take the next helicopter, several times I let people go and they let me go too...if you play a lot of DMZ I'm sure you know how frustrating it is to get killed in the heli >>Remember that even if there is radiation, there is a fourth helicopter that appears later.

You can jump into the truck with the hostage on your back if you have enough height, or you can drop the hostage right behind the truck then go prone on the back of the truck and grab the hostage again.

You can exfill on the side also. You can even shoot into the chopper through the windows while flying off. The team was exfilling with the weapons case and I killed the guy with the case and downed the other guy so they never picked it up before completing the exfil. Not sure if it counted for them since none of them were holding it at the time

I love this new mode but it's very frustrating for a crappy player like myself. I get angry when I get to 3 straight exfils only to lose everything the very next game because someone kills me. I'm not sure why or how I can't keep what I lose from previous games. Keys weapons shields large backpacks etc. all gone the minute I die.
