Hi Lisa, I have been enjoying your videos. I find them to be some of the most useful genealogy videos on KZbin. I was wondering if you or Lisa have done any videos about the ethics or approaches to take contacting relatives. Specifically, I have a 2nd cousin twice removed DNA match in the Philippines who is looking for his birth father. The Thru Lines feature on Ancestry suggests who this young man's brith father may be. My grandmother and this young man's 2nd great grandmother were sisters. I think I know who the birth Father is, but am unsure how to move forward. Should I reach out to him?

Ciao Lisa sei bravissima.io ho fatto un test DNA e ho 765 corrispondenze alcune già li ho già come sono imparentati.mentre altri che sono corrispondenze dei paesi balcanici non riesco ha trovare una connessione.io sono del sud Italia puglia.e c'è un gruppo di persone che abbiamo una triangolazione sullo stesso cromosoma su myheritage.loro con me hanno in comune etnia greco e italiano meridionale e medio orientale mentre loro hanno anche etnie Asia e balcanici e altri e loro hanno tutti Asia meridionale e hanno tutti i gruppi genetici dei Balcani e dei rom.loro dicono che con questi ho un trisavolo in comune e con altri un quadrisavoli comune.io nel mio albero non ho trovato nessuno con cognomi stranieri.peto da parte materna non si conosce chi era il padre di mia nonna e il padre della mia bisnonna.tu pensi che ci sia una connessione da parte di queste corrispondenze con la parte materna di mia nonna?loro qualcuno ha un albero con 50 persone ma altri non hanno molte persone e altri non hanno nessun albero.le percentuali con questo gruppo sono dai 8 9 fino ha 15 centimorgan sono pochi ma potrebbe essere che c'è una mezza parentela con sorellastre e fratellastri di mia nonna ho mia bisnonna.spero che mi aiuti ha capire .grazie
