Apologies if I heard you both wrong but the rule is barbed or micro barbed hooks only so you would only have had to get rid of the lead core. I only know as most waters round here are barbless so I had to buy some barbed hooks to fish it. Great video and nice to see what someone who knows what they are doing can catch even in the winter. Unfortunately I am not in the same league, or even remotely close, but I enjoy what I do do and that is what it is all about.

Great vlog and from first time viewers it was a superb watch.. Nice to see so many carp on the bank especially on a winter session.. Beautiful fishery just terribly run by Charlie the Balife. Never hand over any moneys until your in your swim as Charlie has a habit of moving you off your swim for his mates. Shocking form. Our group would never fish again nor recommend this fishery.
