Found this banger when I was still 10 years old in 2014. I've always been bullied and isolated by my classmates back then but this song has always kept me going through those hard times. Playing Roblox with my online friends while listening to Tristam's songs was such a blast and I'm glad that the internet has brought me to this amazing artist. You know, the more I think about it, the more this 'Tristam is Braken' theory makes sense. 1) Tristam has apparently expressed an interest in creating another pseudonym to see if it's really his music people love or just his status. 2) Two of Braken's three songs have been collaborations with Tristam 3) That one sort of hi-hat-ish sample that Tristam often uses (in this song, 'Till It's Over and a few others) is also used in To The Stars. 4) Most noticeably for me, Braken's verse in this song really sounds like Tristam trying not to sound like Tristam. Seriously, I think this might be more than just some random internet theory. And if it's true, then Tristam has succeeded in giving us two monstercat legends and has braken the hype meter by collaborating with himself!

I somehow relate this song to a story between a parent and their child. The parent explaining the child how they should address the obstacles in their path. The child going throughout their life, solving their own problems and walking their own path, but always counting with their parent when things get too rough. "We can stay here and play until somehow you can find a slightly better frame of mind" Makes me think of the parent offering support to the child whenever they need it until they (the child) matures enough to not need the parent anymore. "When all eyes are on you, you will know what to do since you would have a better frame of mind" (or something like that) Makes me think that everything the child will eventually have enough maturity and understanding to know what to do and how to do it. Still, the last part "You can lift your head up in the sky Take a deeper breath and give it time You can walk the path among the lines But always know that you'll be safe I will be here throughout our days Come find me and we will play" This makes me picture the parent and their grown up child still having a bond, the parent unconditionally being their for their child, even if they (child) don't need them (the parent). Cute thing to make a short story, isn't it?

I see it as a guy who is mentally stable, down to earth, and calm, is talking to a slightly younger girl. The girl has a worse FRAME OF MIND, and is mentally unstable. Let’s call the guy axel and the girl will be lyla: Axel takes Lyla under his wing in a sense and guides her through high school along with him. She catches feelings for him and vise versa. That is how I see it. Oh and there is another song called little too close, in which lyla doesn’t know how to feel about Axel. :)
