Yeah. I’m sure they will go back to a traditional roll call, but the much shorter roll call with a scenic tour of locations across the country was far better for television viewing than traditional roll calls are.

AS a independent liberal, I was pissed with how everything turned out. I'm sorry. Hillary is qualified, yes, but that doesn't alter the fact that Bernie did astronomically well with independents, with a great bulk of republicans, with a majority of democrats, and even performed well within the swing states. REMEMBER PEOPLE: Trump barely won the election by 77,744 votes in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin (a region where Bernie was performing well with Republicans and Independents). The DNC failed to capitalize off of this! All they cared about was exploiting the fact that they were running who they thought would become the first female president rather than someone who was getting his message across and bridging both sides of the political spectrum together. Yes, it's an intriguing thought that we could have had a first female president, but lighting only struck once with Obama in regards to his being the first African American president. It was not going to strike a second time in Hillary's case! Had Bernie been nominated, he would have likely exceeded Obama's 2008 record voter turnout from 69 million to [MAYBE] over 75 million and probably would have carried a great deal of states, winning the electoral college at over 300 votes. The DNC had one chance to get it right...and they blew it. And to use him to convince his own supporters as well as that of the many undecided Democrats to waver their support over to her--IT'S INSULTING. And now we're stuck with Trump for what could be either one term or two terms...Get your shit together, @Democratic National Convention! Listen to the people! The energy was with Bernie, not Hillary this time around.

No person would vote for a socialist, as a liberal I wouldn’t have voted for him, republicans hate socialism more than Democrats! That’s why Bernie lost the primary by more than 3 million votes, and he did not win Ohio, Florida, and Pennsylvania during the primaries.
@tommyl.dayandtherunaways8205 жыл бұрын
Bernie lost hecause he got fewer votes than Hillary. That's it. Not the superdelegates, not the DNC, nothing else. You can have all the energy behind you in the world, but if you can't get more votes than your opponent, there's no one else to blame but yourself.

@@tommyl.dayandtherunaways820 And here's round two. Bernie 2020! His army of volunteers, and individual donors haven't gone anymore. We are more experienced, AND we remember what the DNC did. NOT AGAIN. Clinton lost the EASIEST ELECTION IN HISTORY.

@@tommyl.dayandtherunaways820Energy. Madam President Hillary Clinton had all of the Energy in 2000, 2008 and 2016 in the U.S. The right wing humans has always attempted to vote in the Democratic Primaries in attempt to beat the People's Chosen Candidate in the Democratic Party. Here's my question: If we allow the people of the 5 island territories to fight/die in out country's wars, use our nation's currency, and vote in the primaries, why not just make them full states already? I mean, these 5 islands have nearly 4 million people (born as Americans) on them so just make them states so they can vote for President like every1 else!
@MegaBallPowerBall7 жыл бұрын
Jesse Torres In American Samoa you are not born American. In the 1890's they moved American Samoa into a separate category where the constitution doesn't automatically apply so the amendment requiring American citizenship to all born in the country doesn't apply. Those born in AS are US nationals who must go through the normal immigration process if they want to become citizens.
@jessetorres87387 жыл бұрын
Short Names: Oh, I didn't know that. Then this makes even less sense cause the delegate from American Samoa in this video said they have the highest % per capita of military in the country.
@MegaBallPowerBall7 жыл бұрын
Jesse Torres They do have the most per capita. They are US nationals which essentially means they have to pay taxes, can join the army etc but they can't vote, get benefits or many other advantages offered to citizens.
