At the point in time when bullets can pass through the interdimensional walls. When firepower takes up the entirety and eternity of space and time, all beings stuck in a neverending life and death cycle as bullets recover and destroy their bodies in quick succession. No one is able to think about anything but the sheer force of the bullets rapidly flying literally everywhere in the materium turning the warp itself into nothing but a sea of automatic weaponry... Then there will be enough dakka. Or, at least almost.

Super fun to watch, but Connor is the only one who knows how the rules work 😅 Gaijin cast a spell and attacked on his first turn, then Zito cast TWO spells and got his multiattack on his first turn. Rangers sure are a lot better if they get to do all that 😂 Monty sure is kind to these boys!

For Zito's two spells, the slow was from his blessing, and is a free action when cast that way, it's dumb and broken but that's how Monty made it. And the lightning arrow is a bonus action to then buff the next attack. The mistake Zito made was adding lightning arrow to the normal attack, it's supposed to replace the damage of the attack, his two attacks and two spells were perfectly in the rules

In all previous episodes its stated that both the demon summon of panics and his slow and haste cost an action. They do however not have to worry about the concentration which is a broke thing monty chose but he has stated they r an action.

@@drogonthelizardfolkranger1702 It does reduce its speed... the barbarian will lose the Fast Movement ability, which would grant the Barbarian 10 ft. extra speed. In addition, medium armor does not even provide THAT much AC bonus compared to a Barbarian with 18 CON... (average Med Armor is 14 + DEX, whereas a Barbarian with 18 CON provides the same 14 + DEX), and it usually also provides a disadvantage on skill checks on top of that...

If Borky is worried about his ac, thanks to the new Tasha’s cauldron of everything book, he now has the ability to go get one of those new fancy magic tattoos to help him out. I would recommend him looking into the barrier tattoo which when not wearing armor (and with him being a barbarian it works perfectly) it will raise your base ac to 12, 15, or 18 based on the rarity of the tattoo. Best give that bone armor to Greckles so the rouge can keep fighting longer and not lose any of his stealth capabilities.

I know I'm a bit late, but I'm going to chime in anyway. To be fair, there are a lot of different aspects that they don't do properly. IE, Task using the lightning arrow, they are buffing it fairly significantly by skipping one line in the spell that reads '... instead of normal weapon damage.' Essentially, he is getting an extra 6 to 11 damage every turn he uses that spell, which is not an insignificant buff for no cost.

Also, readying an attack as your action only performs one single attack, not your Attack Action. 1:24:30 - Booming Blade is a Cast A Spell action that includes an attack as part of casting the spell, not an Attack Action that you add the spell to. Remy wouldn't have been able to make his second attack normally because he used his action to cast the spell, and his War Magic ability says "when you use your action to cast a cantrip, you can make one weapon attack as a bonus action", and he rightfully noted that he couldn't since he'd already used his bonus action to give Seika a potion. 1:50:25 - Just to be clear, my rules clarifications are for the people reading this comment, not the players, as (1) the rules for the game are up to the Monty as the DM and what she says goes, no matter what the official rules say, and (2) it would be pointless to try to correct them anyway since the episode is already done. No, I point out how the rules work for the people who might go to their own games later and say "but that's how they do it on [Unexpectables/Critical Role/High Rollers/etc.]!"

@@a_cynical_mad_man_vods I'm aware of that, yes. But the way he phrased it makes it sound as though he made an attack roll and then added the spell to the attack, when it's the other way around. Booming Blade is "I cast the Booming Blade spell, which includes an attack roll", not "I make an attack roll and put Booming Blade on it." Also, War Magic doesn't let you replace one attack with a spell, the ability's wording is "Beginning at 7th level, when you use your action to cast a cantrip, you can make one weapon attack as a bonus action." As Bosco noted, he had already used his bonus action to give Seika a potion, so he couldn't make his bonus action attack.

Borky's an HP tank not a AC tank, you need more HP :P And our evasion users automatically take half damage and on successful take no damage. 👀 And bosco/remy is a good bean ( ꈍᴗꈍ) I just hope they remember their stuff cause it sucks when your getting chaos dunked and you simply forget you have a few powers that could totally help out. Regardless, I love the show, the actors, the dnd shenanigans very much, going nearly 3 years strong now and appreciate all the amazing stories !!

I find myself disagreeing with Monty’s call on the fan thing (unless I’m greatly misunderstanding the situation). There was no check on using it in the way Greckles wanted, he just failed bc (it seems to me) that Monty thought it would be funny even though it makes Greckles look like an asshole. I’d feel the same way that Gaijin did.

I would like to add my 2 cents, Gaijin thought it would only slow her decent which is not how the item works; he tends to meta game alot. if you go back to watch that scene, he says he wouldn't have done it if wasn't going to work and tried to change his action. As a player and as a character, you won't know the possible outcome of every little thing, as Monty was prepared to have him make an Athletic check to catch her but he decided to rush in and just swing his fan, he didn't outright tell her how he wanted to execute his plan as he just expected it to work in his favor

It's kinda wierd, but think of the four elemental languages as very specific dialacts, American, British, Australian, etc., and Primordial is like the Common tongue, English, for the elemental planes. They all come from the same language, but have evolved separately to become their own unique language.

Look, I'm sure 3.5 was a great system and veterans have good reason to love it, but if you're going to play 5e, you need to actually read up on 5e rules. You don't need to have them all memorized, but there are certain rules, such as short rest healing, that you should just KNOW going into a game. That's all I'm going to say.

3.5 is a very detailed and granular system with many individual rules. In 3.5 you regain ONE HIT POINT per FULL DAY OF REST. There is also no such thing as a short rest in 3.5. Resting is 8 hours minimum. There are tons of differences between editions, and making mistakes is what people do. Not knowing about short rests as a 3.5 vet is far from a big mistake.

Because if that's really how things worked in 3.5, then the mere existence of a short rest is a game changer. It completely changes how you would approach situations. People have a tendency to think of 5e as "3.5 simplified", and maybe it is to an extent, but it's still it's own separate system with it's own rules. You need to at least know the basics, and short rests seem pretty basic to me.

Still angry that borky got his AC dropped I started an ac15 in my campaign and has braces made on my monk to raise it to 17 it's currently 18 because it has gotten risen up once do the talent points you do not neaf an unarmored defense character there should be no reason for key has to put on Armor to compensate for that it's just upsetting he now has to find something that's plus 6 or seven armor because bass AC is 10 ughhh
