Dust Drifting Directionless Divine... Not only is the context of this little verse clever, it is also unbelievably catchy. This line really stuck with me, to the point that I'm creating these kind of mini poems with DnD spells in mind. Trembling Terror Turning True, Repel River Redirecting Rage, Deranged Darkness Directing Descent. I might use those for a future character.

@@JacksonJinn it has nothing to do with it being an 'ethical romance' as in a prison setting people do get r***d, some people are into gay sex, BDSM, etc. It has more to do with the ethics of the narrator in the telling of the story, than of the relationship itself. Another such distinction would be along the lines of did this person get into porn/prostitution of their own accord, or were they forced into it, and if they were forced into it, how is that portrayed and is that portrayal acceptable

Incoming theory: Whatever is infecting Omnimaw is possibly also what's affecting Orun? There have been multiple references to Orun being dead, being sick, and Athtar, a champion of Orun, was filled with the same black ichor. This is presumeably the "nothing" referenced by Ith. Omnimaw, occording to Ith, became fat and tired, fat and lazy, he let the "nothing" in. My theory is that Omnimaw, being tired and lazy, allowed himself to be fed the voice of someone from the United Church of Orun who, like Athtar, had been corrupted by this nothing, and this is how he fell sick. This could be disproven by Mrs. Panic's Mom easily, but I can't disprove it right now, and it's a good way to link Athtar to Omnimaw, especially since Mrs. Panic's Mom says the voices of important people are more sustaining. Side thought: maybe she stole Winter's voice.

The realm of discord sounds terrifying especially when majority of the parties are some type of casters however the rules for 5e long rest means you dont have too sleep for your long rest most people do that because they finished their adventure for the day but a long rest actually only needs too be light easy activity so they could get their magic and hp back but i do understand that this is 1. Montys world she can do what she wants and 2. It makes for great narrative and roleplay aspects.

Funny thing about mii gunners: I made all 3 mii fighters as versions of myself and out of all of the 3, the mii gunner was the one who always won out in a lvl 9 CPU match with the other two. the main reason is because the mii brawler and sword fighter I made don't have any ranged specials, though they would probably get bodied by mii gunner even with those specials. x-x

Compare the total to a target number. If the total equals or exceeds the target number, the ability check, attack roll, or saving throw is a success. (PHB p. 7; para 3 of section "the D20"). Who wins in a tie has nothing to do with attacker or defender. Easy way to remember: If the creature or player who is making the roll matches or exceeds the DC of a check, they succeed. In a tie on a contested roll, literally nothing happens lol. It's not a huge deal though. One failed save or missed attack in either direction is in not in any way game breaking. Just putting this here in case anyone is curious because I hear this question brought up a lot in this campaign :D

Not quite. It's sleeping and doing such light activities for no longer then two hours. Hence why the shifts for guard watch are only 2 hours each. Since they can't sleep they're by default doing light activity the whole 8+ hours so they do not benefit for as long rest as normal. Thankfully this place also keeps you from becoming exhausted from not sleeping or they'd all be dead from 8 days straight of being awake.

Yeah it means standing watch for more than 2 hours counts as longer than light activity, which would break the long rest, thats why you set up watch rotations.

Honestly I can't see reading for eight hours being the same as sleeping. Standing watch is also stand/sit there and pay attention so it's about as taxing as anything else but it's the only one with a time limit? Ultimately comes down to GM is god so if Monty says realm of Discord keeps you from benefits of a Long rest then so so be it. Maybe that rumble when you try to listen to the ground keeps you from having anything count as light. Like trying to read comfortably backstage during a heavy metal concert, not really happening.
