A few bags of sand in the sidecar would help quite a bit. Very good video,thank you. No music, except for the engine, thank you.

Good job filming this video! It was real entertaining showing alot of the bike doing what it does. Better than a go-pro mount where all you see is the trail.

the sidecar wheel is also pushing ? I want a vintage sidecar that push with the sidecar. Is this motorcycle standard I means all of them will push with the sidecar ?

Hello sivi8272, this sidecar once served in the Soviet-Russian army. It has a permanently driven sidecar wheel and a differential with a special blocking device. These were in use from 1964 until about 1978. The model is called MW 750. It's civil counterpart is the Dnepr MT12, built from 1978 until 1984, wich differs only in not having the blocking device and military equipment. The MW 750 was succeeded by the MW 650, a modernised version with a 650 ohv engine, wich had its civil counterpart called Dnepr MT16. The military versions were much better built than the civilian ones. With a complete rear drive unit, rearfork and sidecar chassis with drive unit it is possible to convert any Dnepr (not Ural!!) model to a driven sidecar combination. The more recent Urals also have a driven sidecar wheel, allthough not permanently driven through a differential; it is only meant for use in heavy terrain. If you can spend a small fortune, you can think of a German WW2 BMW R75 or Zündapp KS750 sidecar combination. These are technically superior to the Russian bikes, but will cost you at least 6 or 7 times more. Good luck.

I'ts not dnepr,- Moto "KMZ" made in Kiev-(1959-1968); Dnepr work after KMZ, sorry it' s my bed English, bat is try!!!
@Garfieldonwheels5 жыл бұрын
You are absolutely right on this, Igorok. In the west most people don't know KMZ or IMZ, they even think Ural and Dnepr are different names for the same motorcycle. So I used the Dnepr name to compensate for western ignorance...
