I know that in other fighting games Japanese sounds better... but here I find it very strange to hear it in jp... I'm very used to hearing it in Korean.

Tbh they followed the timing for actual dungeon boss fights. The screen freeze happens when the HP drops to 0. A little annoying indeed

Highly doubtful, both betas had Japenese, Korean, and Mandarin VOs and if an English VO was going to be in the game it would have likely been in the betas as well. Mandarin being included over English is definitely a head scratcher considering there's no chance this game in China even comes close to pulling the sales it'll achieve in the West but it is what it is.
