Thirty-year-old lady in Kikambala, Kilifi County is reaping big from Duck farming business.
Naima Shariff says her business has grown by leaps and bounds in a span of two years due to the high demand for the duck eggs and meat.
She faces a myriad of challenges such as lack of agricultural services from the government as well as the outbreak of poultry diseases which has affected her business.
She has extended her fortunes by investing more in poultry farming. At her family, she also keeps pigeons, rabbits, and turkey. Her love for the birds changed her life and never regrets relocating to the farm, leaving her parents and a good lifestyle in Mombasa.
