@ickn2005
@ickn2005 7 ай бұрын
@@skum73 Just a speculation and from an outside perspective. Asians, from my experience, are very business minded and put lots of stock on looking the part. Having a fine writing instrument to either use during business and to give as gifts, would lend to more of an availability. Since they could tend to be more conscious of appearance than many westerners. I've seen nice deals being signed with a pilot G2. Where as, a professional Asian business man would probably be ashamed to use such a pen and might even look at it as disrespectful to the prospective or current client. Obviously this is mere speculation. It might just be the concentration of wealth in some regions? Good observation on your part though.

Really cool Vlog. A lot of history in such an iconic place like this. Thank you for showing us and giving us a tour. Akiba was at one point the tech capital of Asia when Japan manufacture almost everything in electronics. Of course those who are techies also brought their other passions such as Anime and game centers to the area. The birth place of maid cafes. It's a bit of nostalgia that is slowly going away with the rise of internet shopping but still glad I could see it in your video. Thanks

I live around 30 minutes from Akihabara and go to Yodoshi Camera all the time. Did not know about the batting cage up top. I will check that out. Had lunch there on the 9th floor, recall that it was under $15, which is a fair price, and decent quality food. For electronic good however, there are cheaper places. Personally I like exploring that area on the other side of the JR station and a few blocks down. Much better prices for M.2 SSDs, USBs, and misc items as keyboards, etc. Not far from Yodobashi, like less than a 20 minute walk is an indoor sauna (called onsen) that is nice to go to. Recall it's around $20, and they have free alcohol. Relaxing time there.

So no joke in my three weeks trip to Japan a little over a month ago I felt so disappointed coming back to the states and not having the Toto experience with bidet and privacy and deodorizer and heated seat that I bought two to go in the house I am renovating. Those toilets are the future and honestly if you know where to look not that expensive just a tad over $500 but at that point you’ll save so much money on toilet paper and comfort. It’s so worth it. Okay that’s my gush about the Japappy toilets thanks for coming to my ted talk

20:05 you can absolutely fit a model railroad into a 500 sqft apartment. You should look at Z Scale or if you want to really squeeze, shorty Z or T Gauge would do nicely. They will easily fit on a bookshelf no problem. Also I recommend the Kato Trams. I've got one and they have some super small radius curves that will work really well in a very tight space. I'm hella jealous about that model car section too because I love model cars as well.
