DNT Optics TNC650R Specifications

I'll be curious to see the difference at 8x zoom on the 50mm vs the 35mm at 6x. Just picked up a 635 so hopefully I dont regret not waiting. I guess I have 30 days to hope they officially release it if its that much clearer.

Hi and thanks for your comment, I too have the 635 should be arriving shortly, and I reckon the wider view will be better, so i am not too concerned, better for scanning multi targets and have the zoom lock feature and they detect a heat signature from long distances anyway can then switch to IR for the zoomed in version for Postiive ID. I guess it wont be long before DNT bring out Tubed versions in relation to the IR as the tech becomes smaller, cheaper.

DAMN, I can't keep raiding my Social Security to keep up with DNT. I bought the TNC225R just five weeks ago.

I was going to order the TNC225R a while back but decided to hold of due to the announcement of the TNC335R and TNC635R. there is nothing wrong with the TNC225R it's still a good scope, especially if you are shooting small pests, ratting rabbits, foxes, coyotes etc. As it gives you a heat signature at distance for you to the target acquire and then use the ir for identification and take the shot. these new ones just have a greater ability to identify through the thermal channels. yes it would be frustrating I am sure they will hold their money if wanted to pass the torch for an upgrade though. But very good that DNT are listening and improving all the time pushing the envelope of the tech.

Hi Thanks for your comment, sorry not that I am aware of at the moment, but be interested to see if there is any mention of it at BSS25, whether that is via a live intro to a demo unit or just the product brochures and video etc but i am sure more will be known at and after the BSS25.
