The offense was terrible but the defense was stout all game long. Bo Nix was inaccurate and failed to see some open receivers but Javonte Williams ran hard. 10-9 win 👌

Conversely, the Jets defense dominated the Broncos offense. But on a day in which Courtland Sutton had ALL 60 yards that Nix threw for...you're still crowing about Nix. The truth is...except for the one game last week in which Tampa Bay failed to show up for the game...Bo has been BAD.

He’s our weakest link on offense yet every talk show is gonna lead off with him being 2-2 and that’s BS. Every week I hear the same excuse “this is a top tier defense” blah blah blah. They played will Levis jacoby brissett and Bo nix and when they played the 49ers they got smacked. Steelers D got smacked by Richardson/Flacco. Bo has been awful point blank period. You gotta take into consideration Tampa didn’t have vea or Winfield arguably there two best defenders

@@brandonjackson6323 Imagine if Russell Wilson had put up numbers that Bo did in this game last year in a one point win that we escaped with only because the other team missed a game winning field goal. This fan base would have called for him to be cut before getting on the team bus. Forget the wet ball, nobody would be talking about a wet ball. They'd be talking about how horrible Russ was. Right now, Bo is on pace to throw 4 touchdowns this year & 16 INTs. I'm not suggesting that will happen, but the numbers are the numbers. The problem with Nix is that he can't read NFL defenses & his mechanics are Tim Tebow terrible. Take a look at this play linked below. kzbin.info/www/bejne/m2i4n5Stg9OYlas It's the first one in the clip with Denver in a 3rd & 3 situation at 6:30 left in the 1st quarter. Nix is in the gun & takes a 3 step drop. He has #11 Josh Reynolds wide open coming out of his break 14 yards downfield. If Bo simply plants his feet & fires it just ahead of Josh & hits him in stride this play goes for big yardage. At a bare minimum he's got the first down with a 14 yard gain. Instead, Bo steps up in the pocket when he didn't need to...OK, maybe we can argue he could have been sacked if he doesn't, but he doesn't throw the ball then either. Instead he takes off running parallel to the LOS & throws a wildly off balance pass in which he fails to square his shoulders, plant his feet or put his body in position to put some mustard on the ball. What we get instead is a pass that's WAY off target & hits the turf several yards away. This is only one example of this. There are numerous others. This is the kid we were told was the most accurate passer in college football history. Clearly accuracy is not a strength at this level. Sean is calling almost nothing but short passes not because he's a poor play caller, but because he can only call what he thinks Bo can run. A quarter of the way into this season, two months into his career in Denver...that still means mostly short passes or something to the sidelines. That is what fans said we had to escape from when Russ was here. I don't know why Sean felt he had to start Bo as a rookie, but the idea that he's getting better each game is false. I've charted every pass he's thrown from the first preseason game in Indy until now. He's not getting better. We are fortunate to have what looks like an elite defense at this point. But we can't win many games in this league scoring 10 points a game no matter how good the D is. In three of their games...Seattle, Pittsburgh & the NYJ game...they have scored 12 or fewer points when it mattered in each one. We are going to face some offensive teams down the road in which that won't come close to being enough. From what I see on this schedule, we'll have the weaker offense in every game we have left with the possible exception of Carolina. Yet the media won't go near any of this.
