I don't know is this Westbrooks best edition ever (I somehow doubt it, him having 200 triple doubles under the belt) but in last two months he reminds me of some really hungry young 20-year old player, not even dog, but wolf hungry. And to see that in 36-year old player is simply magnificent poetry... if Joke elevated smething in Westbrook, it was his spirit, and not skills...

I knew it. Since the beginning I've been saying Westbrook is gonna enter his prime playing for Nuggets. And I also knew Russ is gonna have multiple triple doubles this season, raising the level for Jokic to surpass.

The fans love Westbrook cause he is playing well, he adds energy and knows how to entice the audience. I hope the fans remember this during rough times that will surely happen. To me, there is a difference between a guy playing his heart and soul but making mistakes or not having a good game and a guy that, at least on the surface, feels like he doesn't care enough. That's why I'm on Jamal's case, not because he's having a rough patch and not playing well right now. I could forgive that based on the history, but I can't forgive the lack of effort at times, bad attitude, coming to the season unprepared, exposing yourself to more injuries because your body's not ready. That's also why I don't like all the voices right now calling to trade CB. CB has done enough for this team to earn patience. It's worth keeping him even if he's in a bad patch because he's still giving effort, he's still trying, and he will get there ( plus's contract is cheap, so there's that).

I think he’ll have bad games but I think this is what we are going to consistently see. Denver uses Westbrook way better than the La teams. Denver doesn’t put him in the corner and force him to make threes, they let him run PG and make great passes. That’s why him and jokic have been great together. When AG comes back the defense should start to level out. And if Watson can make the right play instead of playing selfish this team will ascend back to a finals

The thing about Westbrook is not so much the quality of his play as his attitude. He was meant to be this vortex of negativity and selfishness. Instead, he is very positive, engages and is a true team player. The negativity lies elsewhere, unfortunately.

He's super sensitive to disrespect from fans and media.....but, in my mind, he's never been a negative on court or locker room guy. He's always amped up and always supporting teammates. I’m as low on Mal as any fan, but I think in a perfect world he’s best as a shooting guard & has no business playing the 1. If he could stay healthy & only made 20 mil or so max, I’d be cool w him on this team. The prob is obviously his injury history & that awful contract. And Harrison couldn’t be more wrong: the Jok Murray two man game is NOT essential to win another chip. Last year’s playoffs proved that as teams figured it out & then the Wilves exploited it. Mal is not a good point guard.
