How to become friend of Allah: 1. Believe in Allah and his All-Mightiness 2. Reading and pondering upon the Quran, try to get deep understanding of Quran 3. Increase the amount of optional prayers, optional fast, optional zakat, optional hajj 4. Constant remembrance of Allah- every time I remember Allah, Allah remembers me 5. Favouring what Allah loves over what I love - e.g. getting up to pray fajr at the correct time, even though I love to sleep at that time, Allah loves it when we get up and pray 6. Having the heart live by Allah’s 99 Names (basically similar to the first point I think)

I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue.
