Aboriginal communities really celebrated and valued education on country. We hope it will contribute to the debate on “Closing the GAP” for the many Aboriginal kids missing out in remote Australia.

I was just gonna comment something about them speaking perfect Australian English and wanted to ask if they have long forgotten their own language until I got to the part where the man in black said he can't speak his native language. It's sad that their identities were robbed from them and seem to be struggling to educate the younger generation on their own language and culture. I hope native cultures continue to be kept alive.

@@karthikpuvvula Nope, your Indian history that is taught as "fact" is an amalgamation of very old legends and stories, some even written recently, that were all put together in order to create a shared history between the multiple ethnic groups of India so as to create sense of overall Indian nationalism. If it weren't for the creation of this unifying "legendary history", India would've just balkanized and not gained its independence. But unfortunately it comes at the expense of any true discoveries about India's real past, because everyone just seems to be content with this version. India's attitude towards history is just kind of odd in general when compared to the rest of the world. The line between 'Gods who roamed the earth' and real history is often blurred.

NCR Trooper Jesus died for sinners who love and accept him and live their lives abstaining from sin. Those who don’t do this, are going to Hell. Get off your high horse. Some people will go to Heaven and some people will go to hell. That’s just the way it is. Jesus is the free choice that everyone has to accept or reject and if you end up in Hell, it’s because you rejected that choice. And not everyone who calls on Jesus is going to Heaven to be with him. There’s a lot of “Christians” walking around who are only Christians by their lips and not their heart. Bible a lot about this.

NCR Trooper God really hates prideful and proud people who looks at other as less than. And this mentality will only reserve them a seat in Hell. Not with God. Jesus dying for you doesn’t permanently exempt you from going to Hell, Jesus serves as the oath and the promise you must keep and follow for life to beat this whole test. I can drop Bible verses for anyone who needs scripture proof.

If you look at ancient “mongolian” people they have darker skin and broader facial features. And its a fact asian people actually share 97.8% of african dna. Just because they don’t live on the continent of Africa doesn’t mean they aren’t direct descendants of africans, because africans/black people were all over the world before the colonization of the Neanderthals came about.

You realize that AAs are removed from those cultures and are a totally separate ethnic group now right? Though our ancestors combind Thier cultures into one ( which do originate from the different ethnix groups of Africa) does not mean we have the same culture or languages. They have evolved and changed to make a distinct African American culture, so no we don't "have a home" as in we can just go back to Africa and it will be the same. And I think the original person you replied to was talking about the effects of colonization that that what aboriginals have gone through is similar to us, with our dress, hair, language, religions, songs, etc. Have been stripped from us making us have a sense of longing to know where we come from, creating the community's since of lack of identity or not fitting in

I think it’s important that people everywhere retain their identity, ideas and culture but they must learn from the best the world has to offer. It’s the best way for them to thrive and English is critical to access the latest knowledge about just about anything. Learning and mastering English is definitely useful. But shall I say your comment is actually kinda insensitive? All Aboriginal Australians know English already. This video was made especially to point out that they are concerned about their identity, culture, indigenous knowledge systems, and language being lost because of increasing English-only use, even within their own communities. Many of the remaining tribes actually don't know how to speak their language but they want to revitalize them, which includes prioritizing them over English. That doesn't mean they'll never be learning English again. Unfortunately in this world, you "gotta know the colonizers' ways". The point is, there's already too much English, even when it is unnecessary and could hypothetically be occupied by the indigenous languages. That's why mentioning English's role in modern society, especially calling it "the best the world has to offer", is very unneeded and lowkey reinforcing Anglic superiority complexes.

Same period the part between Sri Lanka & Australia was Sunk to the sea due to earthquake. These peoples are originated from Kerala, India. Sri lanka also has relations of those people. those peoples called "Veddhas". Now Small qty of those people remains in Mahiyangana village & nearby areas of sri lanka.

Dear blessed spirits. Education. What is education. Your past ancestors sat and listened when I told them about our dream time. About our mother. Those were great moments of teaching which was not teaching. When you have keen ears, there is no effort in entering the soul. It’s music to all ears. Teaching care, love, respect of old spirits, rivers, mountains, animals, trees and mother is the true education. So dearly missing in todays world. Money and capital influences have blocked the music to the souls. My people, let the music dance again. Let your dreams flow. See what happiness your ancestors once had. Regain the power to look after something precious. She belongs to your future. Let the music play once more. Peace Love flow to you

South Indians may or may not be related to Australian Aboriginals, it all depends on Out of Africa theory being true or not. The theory clearly states that African people did settle on the coastal region of South India as well as Southeast Asia before eventually crossing Sundaland to Sahel (Australia). Even till this day, there are many dark-skinned native will similar skin tone and language to Australian aboriginals in Southeast Asia. South India is a lot more tricky since many South Indians were heavily colonized by North Indians and adopted many Aryan cultures. As a result, while they may share skin tone and genetical similarity, culturally, South Indians are closer to North Indians.

Remember race is more of a societsl thing than a biological one. Africa is tve continent with the widest genetic diversity, meaning you're more realted to an Indian person than a North African is related to a South African. A lot of Aboriginals identify as black, but the term black is just a way to categorize people with afro hair and dark skin. So to awnser your question, if they marry they will be very distantly related so you could call it interracial. But at the same time, a lot of aboriginals identify as black/"blak"
