There are so many credible people saying it in the public domain. I even hate using that word "credible", because who gets to decide that, and based on what? We've been lied to for so very long. Finally, the exact answer from the exact designation i was looking for. The last quotes from this video answered all my questions. The major problem of intergalactic travel or even within our solar system is the distance and the time. The closet star to our Sun is Proxima Centauri which is 4.25 light years = 9 trillion kms. This star system has only one planet which is also not habitable. In near future we can think about colonizing moons of Jupiter or Saturn or Mars as planet. But unless we achieve near to light speed it is almost impossobile to travel to intergalactic planets within a human lifetime except through a wormwole. These things are really interesting and there is a lot to know and we haven't even scratched the surface. Universe is infinite.

The real question isn't whether other intelligent beings have ever existed, because that's a given, it's whether they exist in the same time frame as us. When you consider how small a fraction our 200 years of intelligent existence (how long it takes to exhaust a planet), is compared to the 13 billion years the universe has been around, the chances are astronomically more likely we'll hear signals from a race that's been extinct for a billion years than ever have alien visitors.

@@huhh8584 they don't want people to put in panic, For example consider religion like hinduism, it is so powerful, vast and hard to interpret resulted in creation of fake babas like nithyananda, So if people got the idea of aliens existence they might be doing some idiotic things and much more that negatively effect the man kind. So in short the current humans are not that matured to digest this kind of information, So we need to introduce to people slowly and gradually. In very near future (we will be alive that's for sure) governments will confirm their existence.
