Yeah, i don't agree with that neither. I think that if it doesn't go further than sexual attraction it's possible to mantain a friendship, you just have to be more flexible and normalize that those feelings can appear on this kind of relationships. I'm bisexual, and i have felt attracted to guy and girl friends, but i just put those feelings aside or don't take them too seriously. I guess when it comes to falling in love is less common and gets way harder to continue the frienship, but it depends on the person.

I super agree with the living with parents past 25 answers. It's so different for everyone especially depending on the real estate scene where they live. Sometimes renting isn't the best money-wise and is better to just save and buy a condo or house at some point so they'd rather stay at home until then. Some people also help support their families. It's not something to judge or make remarks about unless you see that a person is really not trying to make a life for themselves in any way.

Most men value women in everyday life. I enjoy watching these videos about Jesse / Walsh family because they are entertaining but no one in these videos have a grip on reality. They are not the norm when you are poling a topic. None of the women are emotionally stable in the videos, and it is because of their family life. Brandon's dad and momma Jenn are so far from living in reality that the kids don't have a lot to go on. Most men believe in female independence and almost all believe in equality but when it comes to finding the perfect person to settle down with, men in general are looking for a woman with traditional values.

Bringing up looks into the equation fuels and reveals your own personal insecurities and trust issues. There is a balance of spending time with a friend and pursuing a romantic relationship. With maturity and life experiences you can discern the difference.

I kind of agree with the girls and girls friendships. But for me it comes more to the level of intimacy. For example, having girls in your friend group to like go to dinner or sum is absolutely fine, but a girl best friend, that you share your secrets, worries and goes out of your way to help and support then & hangout one on one bothers me. I say that because as a straight girl having a good looking guy do all of that for me, it would be very hard not to catch feelings.

I don't know how much of an outlier I am, but if I meet a girl, and I legit know her for more than 2 days, and I don't get actual feelings (which happens once in 4 years) I could never even think about anything more happening. Gotta disagree with Kennedy and Devorah answers on guys having friendships with girls while also being in relationships, if the relationship is healthy and built on trust then having lady friends shouldn’t be a problem. Platonic relationships between men and women do exist. Maybe it isn’t my place to comment on this matter though since I’ve never been in a relationship. I do have a lot of platonic friendships with women though.

Here's my take on the men and women friendships thing ... As a girl, every guy that I've become pretty close to (where we regularly hang out one on one and message each other) either always liked me or ended up liking me as more than a friend. More often than not, it's the girl who rejects her guy friend who likes her. So it seems like guys tend to catch feelings for their female friends. If my partner had a female friend that they were messaging every day and hanging out with alone more than a coffee once In a while, I'd feel weird about it but maybe that's because he has more close guy friends so that would be unusual for him. I'm a bisexual woman so I get it seems hypocritical for me to say that since I'm friends with people I could potentially be into. But the fact is I feel friendships between girls even if they are bisexual ... Usually they truly are just platonic

I strongly disagree with Kennedy, 8:13, I’m a 21 year old GIRL, I’m calling hypocrisy on what she is saying. Because I’ve been like her with that mindset. If a man says “all girls are trash” we all know the girls saying “all men are trash” will go bag shit crazy saying “that’s sexist and shit” . I think it’s very immature and unattractive when a person can openly be sexist and or discriminatory against a whole group of people and blame all those people for experiences that happened with a fraction of that group. I used to be liberal like Kennedy, used to blame men and think women are better. However that’s just not logical, I was fueled by anger of the past, fueled by anger fed to me by media. Strong men are needed in a society just as much as women are needed. Liberals are have very hypocritical thoughts. When I finally let go of the past I was able to be grateful for being a women, I was able be appreciative of men, and embrace and be okay with the fact men and women are different and carry different roles in life. One thing you guys did good in my opinion is showing that men have emotions too. But I still want to talk abt it. I’m a young 13 year old boy so I’m still changing all the time in lots of ways and I can get very emotional and I feel like society makes it seem like men can’t show emotions. Sometimes I just need to let it out. Men also have a harder time let their emotions out because we “have” to be a “man” when we don’t. 99% of the time I don't believe in purely platonic friendship between guys and girls. I used to have quite some girlfriends I was hanging out with 1 on 1 some years ago when I was single but at a certain moment I realized that I was only hanging around them because I was sexually attracted towards them and wanted more then just a platonic friendship. I knew they weren't sexually attracted towards me so I wasn't having any self respect I realized after some time. Eventually I completely cut off my friendship with these girls and also told them why and they completely understood. Just have some self respect! I find that girls answer according to what they are willing to admit. Even in relationships they don’t tend to admit things when it’s obvious and rather have some things go unsaid . When they said girls don’t need a guy to make the first move Iv never found that to be true. Infact many relationships Iv had or beginning of relationships rather, have been absolutely ended because I was assuming girls would be like guys and make a move if interested. They flat out don’t, they sit on their hands and wait for the guys. Iv had many girls tell all their friends they want to date me but in person with me?
