Funny enough, the real kilishi is not as spicy as the Abuja kilishi. I always ask my friends from the north why they are not fighting for the authentic kilishi o. Haba, my friend used to bring kilishi to school when I was a child and it wasn't this tomatoed spicy beef everywhere. It was brownish, like beef is😊

@@ogk7289 No.... Kilishi has always been spicy and funny enough the Abuja kilishi isn't made in Abuja. Abuja just has a deport (sorry for this word) for it... It's being brought there from neighbor states like Niger

A country with over 250 tribes and about 500 languages....perfect setting for chaos is Nigeria,how we have managed to keep it together is what is astounding. The top 4 tribes of Hausa-Fulanis, Yorubas, lbos are a country on their own,each with over 25M folks much more bigger as an independent nation than say Senegal or Ghana.

For context, as a Nigerian, at least from my perspective, regarding corruption; generally Nigerians feel some level of despair & despondence, if you may, about the odds of beating corruption in a system that does little to nothing to hold people in power accountable with real consequences, especially as there's been no real improvement in that regard across administrations. Also a case can be made that the leaders of a people emerge from the people, although the leadership selection process if flawed, like ours is deeply so, can facilitate the the wrong ones rising to power.

If the Naira was at par and even better than the Dollar at some point in the 60s and 70s, I believe the Narai will get back to that point. Will it be a smooth ride to that point? Hell no, but if Nigerians decide to do all things right with the economy and financial sector, it will get there eventually.

Tribalism exists in every country where the people are largely indigenous. It might not be obvious in a country that is largely immigrants like the US. and Canada. However, in these immigrants' countries, there still exists some form of prejudice. Each countries in Europe were all made up of ethnicity and named after each ethnicity, unlike Africa or Asia countries like India where hundreds of ethnicity formed a nation or put together regardless of their cultural or linguistic differences.
