Do At Home Peels REALLY Work? My Exuviance Peel Results!

As I told you a few weeks ago, I started using this right before you and like you, I am so happy with it. I also have a history of very oily and acneic skin. My skin has drastically changed in the last year, but I have tons of hyperpigmentation, some enlarged pores from larger pimples, “texture” or a lack of smoothness in my skin and very visible pores. I am the same age, 46, and have wrinkles, not just fine lines on my forehead and some fine lines around my eyes. All of this was diminished with the peel. Last week, I added their AF Vitamin C capsules and I’ve already seen some hyperpigmentation start to fade. While the peel does not sting at all, the Vitamin C capsules do. It is doable, though and I’m willing to suffer to get rid of all these spots all over my face. All in all, very impressed with Exuviance. Am very interested in trying other products now.

I am doing this same challenge. I am 53 and have texture and pores that I am trying to diminish. Love to hear how much this worked for you. I am on my second week!! Excited to see what improvements happen on my face. I do love the products though!!

I have been very blessed to have really good skin. For years all I every used was baby lotion. Never wore that much makeup. I see wrinkles some now but isn't horrible. I do not look my age. Never had many break outs. That time of the month would be about it! I still use bsby lotion for the most part. I have added cold pressed sunflower oil too. My skin is great for being a year away from 60

You look beautiful its pricey but I cut mine in half read that hint in a review.....take your time cut pads 1/2 & put 1/2 you dont use back in lil envelope & close up it doesnt dry up that fast if you use 1 or twice a week...just a suggestion works for me.....works great......what is the makeup you gave on especially on your lips...

Ok I’m pretty much sold on this! Only concern I have is if it would irritate the really bad breakouts I’m working on getting under control right now (around my mouth and chin). I’m 50. Any thoughts on the risk that I’ll further irritate my skin?

Every time I use a peel I get little bumps that feel like sandpaper so I always stop. Your skin looks 👍👍.

Glycolic helps a lot worth textiles I used to use pixie glycolic toner saw such a difference

Hey Risa! I'm glad you noticed a difference. My Mom (58) was talked into it at Ulta. She is not like me in the way that I like to spend money on the new trend and try new makeup and skin care. She never does so I was so disappointed that she didn't see much of a difference. She feels like it was a waste of money. She doesn't have large pores. She has dark spots & wrinkles. But everyone is different. Again, I'm happy it worked for you.

Hi Shawna, a peel like this is most effective for those that have large pores and a bumpy texture more-so than for dark spots and wrinkles like your mom’s skin. That’s the trouble with Ulta employees, they sadly aren’t trained very well. If your mom has dark spots she needs something with hydroquinone. Has she ever tried Murad’s lightening products?

Hi Leah! I used mine on the crows feet area and yes, I did feel like I saw improvement there. I wouldn’t use it directly under the eyes though, because there’s a chance you could get the product IN your eyes which wouldn’t be good!

I’ve considered using this and our ULTA carries them. I stopped using the gross pads because of the alcohol in them. I use the PTR pads that don’t have alcohol (it stings). So I’m curious!

Can you use this peel while using retin-a? I’ve been doing retin-a 2x a week for about a month and a half. And have had some peeling but not too much. My texture is pretty good but anything to help with cell turn over I’m so down for. Thanks for your vids, your the best.

Lauren Kearbey after my research I learned its best to not be on retin-a for at least a week if your going to do a peel. It just causes too much damage and sensitivity to do both. So now while in retin-a I don’t use and peels. A light BHA-AHA toner is ok though
