Do British Men dress well in London? Or are they dressing down ?

When I worked 'up West' office wear was suits, etc. , then came ' dress - down Fridays' which lead to 'dress- down weekly' - except I think it helped one's promotion not to over do it.

Having travelled to a lot of places. London men are overall the most well dressed in the world. Places like Milan, Paris etc. You’ll get some well dressed men. But overwhelmingly, London men win. I have never felt under dressed anywhere I went. Until I visited London.

Italian living in Lonon here. Thanks for talking about those awful bright brown shoes, a real disgrace! IMO London is generally underdressed, like everywhere else. I’ll keep wearing a suit, blazer or sport coat eveytime I can tho. Cheers

Thr UK has some of the best tailore in the world but to my surprise not many people make use if it. Many if the channels i follow the clientele is actually from the US and other countries.

Most people are very slovenly dressed in sportswear amd other ill fitting wear. This is partly because most people in the UK are overweight to obese now. It's shocking if you stop, sit and relax with coffee and watch the people. A really downtrodden country.
