One key area to help in achieving self control is to protect our eye gate and ear gate. We need to chuck out anything that inflames our passion e.g. certain movies, magazines, websites and pornography. For the ear gates: Music is an important aspect. Immoral, sensual, outrightly crass music that fill the mind with thoughts of sex or use provocative language need to be discarded totally. Avoiding the company of filthy jesters will also protect our ear gate. The poet in songs of Solomon enjoins us to not awake love until the time is right. While sexual urges are natural. Some things can inflame them so much they become too hot to handle. May God grant us victory on all sides in Jesus name.

This is very serious issue,infact not just the youth but both married ,men of God, Bishop of God., Apostle of God.The only exception is the God of man. In addition to what you've said,we must call it by it's real name SIN and not FUN.Secondly, WATCH what you watch .this is the major source of this ungodly lust. From the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks...and all other parts of the body as well.Thirdly, follow the instruction of God that says FLEE from sexual sins ,the devil we are told to resist but sexual sins is 'FLEE' even if your friends say you are not mature.God is happy with us as his children even at 70year old.,rather be happy as a child of God than become a mature sinner. As my brother said,read the word of God and pray.Stop flirting with the opposite sex..... have the mind to please God openly and in the closet with your computer and your phone. ....This is destiny issue if we Indeed want to see God....may God continue to help us 'Watch' and pray' not just sexual sins but all that brings the wrath of God

Thank you very much, I liked what he said especially that the real problem is not exercising self-control and if it is dealt with it will affect every area of your life where self-control is lacking. The fruit of the spirit (self-control) is grown as we spend time with the word and actually doing the word(obedience) because it is the doers that are blessed anyway. David said " I have hid your word in my heart that I might not sin against you", that is some serious conscious effort, And the word of God engineers us to stay pure. Self control is very important for each one of us, Wheather marriage or not, cause image you marriage and your spouse is in overseas How are you going to cope with. At the working place, when you are embarrassed each time by your boss, will you give in or when you wife give birth, what will you do??? I experienced this before and after my marriage, we were living apart from each other. Till my husband joined me here in abroad was not easy, people around you know that you we married but still want to tempt you, but I control myself and the word of God was my life. I think this is not only a problem to the brothers only some Ladies can have this issue also, I think self control is really the number one way to avoid it and also they should both avoid conversations and intimacies that can be tempting, e.g visiting each other privately and secretly, i might sound awkward, but as uncle Lawrence earlier said God has wired us that way no matter how spiritual they might be there is the tendency that they can be tempted since they are attracted to each other ( is almost like giving a smoked fish to a rat and then instruct him to keep it save without touching or eating it, the possibility of the rat's faithfulness is almost zero) so to avoid temptation give the necessary distance.

Beware idolatry or covetousness. If you have been blessed by the movies and songs of mount Zion ministries and it has helped you in your walk praise God. However if you have become a fan to the point of following their daily lives, private life, pictures, social media etc. Beware you don't get caught up idolizing and coveting. It can happen without you even realizing it. I can't say anything bad about them because I don't know them and they carry themselves very well. However I myself am guilty of idolizing this family more than I should. So I am just warning others to yes be blessed by the ministry but be mindful to give the worship and glory to God. Hi, to be honest, it is not that different, I am a lady who has struggled with this and all of what he says applies.. one difference I know of with females (especially believers) is that there is more of a shame factor so we tend to keep such things hidden moreso than men. I think culture contributes to that in that we often hear about how sensual men are which they are but lady's we are too and our flesh is weak too..so we also need to put up guards ourselves and hide God's word in our hearts
