I watched a couple videos with the water test, and found I get a better idea of how it rides when the wife is in the passenger seat. She provides that honest feedback. I did test it on different settings on my recent trip to Abilene and I'm a fan of 3 in the front and 4 in the back.

Yea three in the front is my preference as well. Yea the water test pretty tough to see. Oh yea the wife always keeps it Real lol

Sorry if it's been asked but,, what is your exact set up? Lift height, shocks, wheel and tire size? Thanks
@KickinItWithQ3 жыл бұрын
6in lift. Added coilovers now at about 7-7.5in of lift. Shocks are rough country vertex coilovers. Wheels 24x12. Tires 37x13.5

@@KickinItWithQ thanks. I just picked up a 2021 ford f150 platinum 4X4. I've been trying to figure out if I'm going with a 4" or 6" coilover. I like your finished height so I think I'm going with the 6" now.

I always said between 3 to 5 suits my driving style. A lot less roll overall especially when braking. If I have to hit bump on the road less likely to bottom out. On a long road trip I can see 2 as a setting just to soften the ride but for daily driving 3 to 5. Just my 2 cents. Either way, I love the fact the I can choose.
@KickinItWithQ3 жыл бұрын
Exactly! That’s what I love about them. Can adjust however you

@@KickinItWithQ Video idea. How do they feel when stopping hard? Will setting them to 8 improve stopping? Will setting them on 1 throw you through the windshield?

@blakehowes79712 жыл бұрын
Q I got a question for you, not sure if you know the answer to this. I have seen other people with these coilovers installed, but sometimes I see them with that silver reservoir hose facing the rear side, meaning the hose goes under the upper control arm that faces the back of the truck whereas I noticed your hose goes under the upper control arm that faces the front of the truck. Do you think there is a difference or potentially one way is incorrect?
@KickinItWithQ2 жыл бұрын
What’s up man! No it doesn’t matter my buddy has his face and the opposite way of mind you just have to make sure you have enough clearance with the reservoir hoes running under the control arms

Yes stiffer the suspension the less body roll there is. You will feel it mostly going to on and off ramps.
