I would urge you to read His Word more (if you're already doing that, then that is great). You will see His special relationship with His creatures and His love for them. It will bring much comfort to know the Lord and how He sees His creatures. But take the time to read and understand the chapter given. We have lost our three Pomeranian dogs over the past 4 years and I feel your pain. Colton Burpo at 4 years old went to heaven and said there were dogs and cats and all kinds of animals. I truly believe eternity will be even better with our pets and that they will be greeting us in heaven.

I had to put my dog down in April (multiple internal cancers). SPCA (a kill shelter) wasn't open b/c of the Rona. I got another dog in May and he makes such a difference. Get a new pet and give them all the love you would have given your old pet; that's the best memorial you can give. I still miss my Andy, but Sonny is my sunshine. I'd be a wreck or on medication by now without him.

Nanu Love We lost our beautiful Parrot over the weekend, I know it sounds strange but we feel lost and our home feels empty. We have been crying all weekend. There is no mention in the Bible of a pet heaven or dog heaven-and for good reason. Animals cannot take the steps needed to qualify for “the heavenly calling.” (Hebrews 3:1) These steps include taking in knowledge, exercising faith, and obeying God’s commands. (Matthew 19:17; John 3:16; 17:3) Only humans were created with the prospect of living forever.-Genesis 2:16, 17; 3:22, 23. To go to heaven, earthly creatures must be resurrected. (1 Corinthians 15:42) The Bible mentions a number of resurrections. (1 Kings 17:17-24; 2 Kings 4:32-37; 13:20, 21; Luke 7:11-15; 8:41, 42, 49-56; John 11:38-44; Acts 9:36-42; 20:7-12) However, every one of them involved humans, not animals. Do animals have souls? No. The Bible says that both animals and humans are souls. (Numbers 31:28) When the first man, Adam, was created, he was not given a soul but “became a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7, footnote) A soul is composed of two things: the “dust from the ground” and “the breath of life.” Can souls die? Yes, the Bible teaches that souls can die. (Leviticus 21:11, footnote; Ezekiel 18:20) At death, animals and humans return to the dust of the earth. (Ecclesiastes 3:19, 20) In other words, they cease to exist. Do animals sin? No. To sin means to think, feel, or do something that violates God’s standards. In order to sin, a creature must be able to make moral decisions, but animals lack this ability. They usually act according to instinct during their limited life span. (2 Peter 2:12) At the end of their life span, they die, even though they do not sin. Is animal cruelty acceptable? No. God gave humans authority over the animals but not the right to mistreat them. (Genesis 1:28; Psalm 8:6-8) God cares about the welfare of each animal-including small birds. (Jonah 4:11; Matthew 10:29) He commanded his worshippers to treat animals considerately.-Exodus 23:12; Deuteronomy 25:4; Proverbs 12:10. Bible verses about animals Genesis 1:28: “God blessed [the first humans], and God said to them: ‘Be fruitful and become many, fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving on the earth.’” Meaning: God gave humans authority over the animals. Numbers 31:28: “As a tax . . . , you should take from the soldiers who went out into the battle one soul out of every 500, of the people, the herd, the donkeys, and the flock.” Meaning: Both animals and humans are souls. Proverbs 12:10: “The righteous one takes care of his domestic animals.” Meaning: Good people care properly for animals, including their pets. Matthew 10:29: “Two sparrows sell for a coin of small value, do they not? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father’s knowledge.” Meaning: God notices and cares about animals-even small bird

I needed to hear this badly today. I just buried my mother who was my last relative from my original family unit. My father, brother and sister preceeded her in death and now I am truly an orphan. Just a few months ago, I lost my beloved chocolate lab Molly. She was the sweetest dog I have ever known. The loss of Molly and my Mom in a short period of time has really rocked my faith. I have a garden and I enjoy watching fruits and vegetables grow and eating and sharing them. It's interesting that the other day I was thinking of heaven and realized that I would never again have that joy. This teaching brought me much joy. Today my pastor told me he had a dream , he saw that I was cleaning my house and tending my garden (pastor didn't know those things). Because I had 2 months off I had been doing those things and taking care of my cat and chickens (he doesn't know about them either) He said that suddenly my house turned into a beautiful mansion and I had animals all around me in a field. God confirmed what he dreamt, now I get it.

My cat just passed away Christmas eve. I have always been an animal lover. I was raised around 32 dogs because my mother was a professional dog groomer and trainer. She also competed in the akc. This subject has always been a sticking point for me with my faith. So many people have told me that animals do not go to heaven. That our pets do not go to heaven. But sitting here in my bed right now watching this video gives me comfort knowing that my little baby girl Amber is in heaven or will be going to heaven. And it gives me renewed faith in christ.

Many, many pastors and ministers have caused deep pain to adults and children by telling them that animals don’t go to Heaven. This is not in the Bible. Animals have souls and spirits just as we do. This is the part that lives on for eternity. God loves His creatures more than we do because we are self-centered people. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Look up Scriptures about animals- pray first and ask God to show you the truth. When you are close to God, you know He would never leave His precious animals out of Heaven.🕊️🐑

Jesus also comes back with His Saints on horses. So there's animals in Heaven. Read His Word rather than depending on another man's word. There is no mention in the Bible of a pet heaven or dog heaven-and for good reason. Animals cannot take the steps needed to qualify for “the heavenly calling.” (Hebrews 3:1) These steps include taking in knowledge, exercising faith, and obeying God’s commands. (Matthew 19:17; John 3:16; 17:3) Only humans were created with the prospect of living forever.-Genesis 2:16, 17; 3:22, 23. To go to heaven, earthly creatures must be resurrected. There won't be any animals in heaven. Just a nice thought. We have to repent and be baptised and get transformed and share the gospel etc etc and yet animals don't have to do anything to be able to get into heaven, I doubt it. God says in Revelation that he will make all things new. I haven't read anything in the bible about horses in heaven but coming down to earth Jesus will ride one so that is different. Horses can't inherit eternal life. I have a dog and I love her a lot but I don't see her praying or thinking about going to heaven one day. Sorry the thought is sentimental but I'm sure God would have mentioned it plainly in the bible if it were so.

Thank you for this devotional. It is so timely, as my Mom (95 yr old) and myself were talking about it yesterday. I said I hoped to float on a cloud. She said that would be fun for a while. Then I told her some people say we will do nothing but praise God while in heaven. She and I both agreed while God is to be praised we don't think he is some super ego that wants his children to do nothing but bow and praise him for eternity, but that he will give us many wonderful and pleasant things to do, as any loving father would. I remember quite some time ago, my cousin had a horrible accident in which her entire scalp was ripped off. They were able to save her life and grow new skin, but she would never again have hair and she had long, beautiful hair! She called me one night to ask if I thought she would have hair again in Heaven. I told her that I was certain she would since all things would be restored to perfection with Christ for us believers. Now, our little family dog is dying and I am reminded of that incident so long ago and the question keeps coming up whether we will see him again in Heaven and since he is one of our family, it seems impossible that God would just destroy this incredible source of joy rather than restore this life that gave so much love! God could just tell my cousin in Heaven that hair doesn't really matter - but I know He won't! And I don't believe that He will tell us that that wonderful little source of unconditional love doesn't matter either. I do believe that He will restore His Creation, including our pets! Before my Chihuahua passed, a angel came to me with three signs of what's going to happen in my life. The first was my girl Hannah passing. The other two are about my death. Two have been fulfilled and i am counting down the day and minutes of my terminal illness. The final sign already begun when i received my 5 transplants and my cancer began. My Chihuahua visited me after she passed to say goodbye, and my donor also showed me their last moments in Mississippi. My best knowledge was learning from the teachings of Crazy Horse. There is no mention in the Bible of a pet heaven or dog heaven-and for good reason. Animals cannot take the steps needed to qualify for “the heavenly calling.” (Hebrews 3:1) These steps include taking in knowledge, exercising faith, and obeying God’s commands. If you go to heaven when you die, Noah, you will do so in a disembodied state. You will leave your body behind. Thus, you will not be able to "walk" through the gates because you won't have any legs. I believe God gave us pets to make our lives more tolerable and He knows how much they mean to us so when we are raptured, I believe they will be too. My lab is going home with me. I tell her all the time. She knows Jesus loves her and wants her. She wags her tail when I mention our real home. Very soon now.

@@davesmith7959 Dave, don't let this miserable person break your spirit. every living thing has a DNA sequence, the Lords own serial number and not one person or animal has the same. all life goes back to the one that gave it ! yes your Labrador will be with you in eternity, with a new body that is immortal & never ages. Christ loves us more than words can say and it would be nothing more happy to him to give you your pets you had in your life, he is the giver of life and love, our pets are love and Christ is love. I had 4 Labrador retrievers in my life myself, I pray I see you on the other side and our animals :>) Peace be with you.

I don't need riches, power, or fame to be happy and fulfilled, I need my beloved pets. That's all.
