Chanel Beauty is my brand and I own multiple Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue Gloss colors. The Chic Beige is the only one that is fussy to apply. Very light touch with this color is required. Love this formula. It's worth the investment.

Definitely going to splurge on the Chanel!! I’ve tried the others and would’ve been cheaper to just get the Chanel first time around! The other brands all got extremely flaky on my lips and I ended up picking at my lips frequently.. thank you so much for being so thorough!!! Love your videos!

Girl that Chanel color was made for you! I love the Maybelline. I haven't tried the Chanel. It's probably like flying first class, once you do, sitting in coach is unbearable! I might try the Loreal since it looked so nice on you. I'm just glad to have something that doesn't feel dry and doesn't get messy under a mask.

Chanel is in a league of their own! Not always, but in this case there isn't a single longwear lipstick that comes close to the Chanel Duo Ultra Tenue! The initial expense is a lot, but they last forever as I don't have to reapply during the workday. I don't even take them with me, just apply at breakfast and take a gloss with me. Worth every penny.

I don’t like paying a lot for lipstick but OMG I haven’t been wearing anything but the Chanel in awhile! Absolutely my hg and has lasted through eating, drinking, masks smoking etc.! Feels great on my lips, I have had some slight drying feel but that’s after a long time of not reapplying the gloss. I just love this stuff!

I finally got the Chanel Le Rouge Duo and it is amazing. I have dry lips due to medication and every other lip product like this I have tried was always a huge fail. This hit it out of the park! Thank you so much for this recommendation. You are amazing! Also, #397 Merry Rose is the perfect nude.

This is such a great video Stephanie. I am going to be 54 years old in a few weeks and I HATE matte lipsticks. I bought the Chanel le duo as soon as I saw your first video about them. I got the Tender Beige and Soft Rose. I used to have a lot of the Lipsense colors and have since gotten rid of them. I am now going to buy the Daring Red in the Chanel after seeing this video. Will be Happy to not have dry lips for Christmas day. ❤❤💋💋👄👄

The Chanel lip color looks great on you Stephanie! I may have to splurge on the Chanel one day! I have used the Lip Sense product for years. It is a bit drying but it does not bother me. You can use a clear gloss if you run out of the Lip Sense clear gloss. I have used an Avon Glazewear lip gloss in clear when I ran out of the Lip Sense Clear gloss and the color did not get ruined. I remove the color with a cotton pad or piece of tissue saturated with rubbing alcohol. I then wash my lips with soap and water to remove the alcohol taste and fumes. This method has worked for me and so far I have not experience any issues.

I love this formula of Chanel lipstick. It’s the only one I wear because I hate having to reapply lipstick throughout the day. This stays all day with just a little extra gloss. I’ve worn it for years and don’t think I’ll find anything better.

I know this video is about 2 years old when I'm typing this comment, but I've been wanting to try this lipstick out. I'm looking to get one, maybe two, of these, but at $42 (today's price) I want to make sure I'm getting the right color for my skin tone. The Rimmel Provocalips is my go-to lip product, I use Flirty Fling with a little bit of Dare To Pink, I don't use the clear on the other end I just use the Rimmel clear gloss but I let it dry for quite a bit and find it very long wearing.

STEPHANIE! So glad you did this video. These Chanel Liquid lips are the BEST. I hate liquid lipsticks never use them. Tried this and I am in LOVE especially when wearing this dang mask. Thank you for doing this video maybe some of these less expensive alternatives will help others but they all dried my lips out except for the Chanel. I have to stick with Chanel for this product.

Wow i cant believe chanel still has this. I 1st got this in 2008 lol and they really were long lasting... thru food and quick smooches lol...edit the maybelline i think it was 8 hr or 24 hr actual lipstick not gloss was really good. I used that in 2015 (not sure if they still sell it).That also stood throughout time it just got cakey and cracky after a while but it didnt leak.

@@StephanieMarie True…however the L’Oreal is $8 so you buy two to get the same amount of the Chanel. That’s $16 vs $42. However, if the L’Oreal doesn’t work, then it’s not worth the lower cost. I’m so happy to find this review. I’ve been using Rimmel throughout this mask mandated pandemic and while not completely happy with it, it did keep lipstick from smearing all over my face while having to wear a mask. Seriously thinking about trying the Chanel now after seeing your video! Thanks for all you do!😘

Thank you for the comparisons. This type of indelible (transfer-proof) lipstick has existed for 15 years at least. Mac, Estée Lauder and Chanel all had them in limited color ranges (8 shades or so for each). Currently, I think only Chanel has maintained the line, and significantly expanded the color range. I love several of the new Fall shades - bought 4 of them, including Timeless beige. I have small lips so I never wear only one color because this type of lipstick makes my lips look flat so I apply the darker shade first, and I apply the lighter color on the center part of my lips, and blend with my fingertip. Perfect for mask-wearing days.

Thank you so much for making this video. I have a horrible time wearing lipstick. I forget or smudge it or rubbed it off in minutes, even when za atherefore, a long lasting liquid lipstick is the only way I can look more put together thru a long workday. I have tried to be more mindful, but no there is no difference. Enter the Chanel ling lasting lipstic about 15 yrs ago. Not only did itlast a long time, but even thogrhey had an extremely limited number of shades, one of them was heyond perfect. I worked for 9 to all mighters sometimes & the bother of re-applying lipstic over & over, was simply not there w Chanel. It lasted thru lunches or dinners without going away. The color after 7 hrs & food or so might fade a little bit. I could re-apply the gloss again & it would keep going. I noticed that there was a new formula & more colors (the one on this video). I tried it & it is almost as long lasting as the original Chanel long lasting lipstick. Also, you can create your own color. Apply the darker shade & wait abou 30 seconds & add the lighter color. Muah, you've got a newer shade & as looooong lasting as they get. Because going to the is much more involved, I began to look for other long lasting lipstics & found a very good one, it was the Maybelline. Sadly, they did change the formula & discontinued my shades. I find the new formula fades or goes grainy & no longer lasts thru lunch. I have tried all the o ones you mentioned except the L'oreal. All others were a disappointing.

Awesome review, loved this, nothing beats the Chanel, I adore mine. Wonderful review now I’ll have to try that Loreal one, I’ve tried the ones you mentioned and none worked. I do have the Senegence and they do last a very long time and drying if you don’t keep reapplying the gloss. It’s not hard to remove comes off with makeup wipe, you don’t need that remover. Have you tried the Mac Powder Kiss Liquid Lipcolour, curious about that one?

The Nude Chanel is lovely, but a bit pricey, and they're not cruelty free. The Covergirl color is beautiful. I wonder what is causing the gritty feeling? Great video! I'm surprised you didn't test the NYX Shine Loud High Shine, it has the same formula. I suggest the shade Cash Flow (a beautiful nude shade) and Rebel in Red (a bold Red lip, like you're wearing). Would love to see your thoughts on these!

I have purchased several of the Chanel since the pandemic. They don’t budge and I wear a mask off and on all day at work. Non drying. I have tried many other two step products and get hurt. Not Chanel! Touch ups are also seamless and beautiful.

I’ve noticed with the covergirl one that it breaks up on me too. Now I used it on my wedding day so I could have a color but I could kiss my husband without transfer. It lasted all day that day and I wonder if it’s cause I only applied the balm once. Also love the revlon one!

I’ve had the Chanel one in my cart so many times. I’ve never had a liquid lipstick stay for more than a couple hours before masks. I’ve tried the lipscense and it has a chemical smell and I never used the remover.

Hi Stephanie!! my holy grail longlasting lip products are Maybelline and Loreal they are AWESOME LONGLASTING and very affordable . I have been using them for years!!!!They don't dry my lips and they wearout beautifully for me. I have some gorgeous shades Loreal -invincible sable and nutmeg awesome shades i wore them when i married my kids.❤️and they wore beautiful. The Maybelline one also has great colors taupless taupe #615 is gorgeous for the new cool trend going on💗 channel looks awesome and might even be better than the above but they are very very expensive and if you could buy a product that does the job almost as good as it does than -Enjoy!!! Thanks for this great video and bringing back some old yet excellent goodies no one has been talking about😘
