Just observe the moon for 30 days. You come to know the truth. Does the moon rotate itself? No, but the earth is rotating. What is the reason behind this? Actually our moon rotate too but it's rotation period and revolution periods are quite equal so you see that moon doesn't rotate but it rotates in reality. And you can't compare sub atomic particles with planets or stars, Quantum world behaves completely different from our macroscopic world
