To help with corner grabbing, rebind your left joystick to the D-pad controls. You can do that in Steam, so your rebind doesn't effect any game other than Plate Up.

Quick tip for you guys, if you dont buy the upgrade table, and just save it instead, you have a much higher chance of getting another, meaning you can get a dupe table pretty early on

hey just to explain the picking up the last slice bug when holding interact instead of pickup/putdown: Plateup always treats a pizza pie as a *pizza pie* and never a pizza slice, even if there is only a single slice left in the pie, so when you interact with the slice of pizza, the game considers it a portion action, and you portion the last remaining slice to your hands. There are a couple weird quirks about single-slice pies. First is what you saw in that the portion time is instant. Second is that picking up the pie normally *also* converts the single-slice-pie into a slice. This means if you pick up the single-slice-pie and put it down again, you *no longer have a portionable pie*, that is just a pizza *slice*. This may cause a portioner setup to appear broken briefly if this is done accidentally.

Love PlateUp! I feel like not taking the research desk inhibited the ability to automate cause you didn’t get a copy desk. Imo copy desk is crucial to be able to automate otherwise you can’t get the pieces fast and consistently enough. Excited to see more vids!

20:23 With how well the pizza making was going I would have 100% picked the soup Serving was already getting difficult so adding complexity to the cooking side and getting a 15% reduction in customers would have helped

In Balatro (where you get the music from), I wish you changed the theme when you went into build mode compared to when you started the day, since in Balatro the music seamlessly changes into its different versions depending on what you are doing

Hey I don't know if you guys read the comments, I love your video and I am subscribing. But if I may, I'd recommend combining tables together, and placing the seats far away from you. Messes are only made 1 tile away from the **active chairs** (Unless you take the splash zone card, then it's increased an additional tile). Hope this helps!

To help with corner grabbing, there's an input on the game (I believe is L1 as default, don't actually remember) where your character stop moving, so you just control the rotation of him, that way you don't need something to be stuck onto to grab things in the corner 😂
