Do Hero Levels Even Matter Anymore?

Hey everyone! I wanted to mention something I completely missed when scripting this video: The HERO REGENERATION stat does increase every 5 levels. This actually makes hero upgrades a lot more worth it, but I don't change how I would handle everything in this video simply due to the hero potions. You must mean the health recovery increases, right? Increased health recovery is the positive every 5 levels and increased health regeneration time is a negative. Did I missunderstand anything?

I am at TH 12 and my Queen is lvl 65 which is max for my TH but after the update the equipment is at lvl 11 which is NOT max for TH 12. So I spent millions of Dark Elixir just so Supercell can take that progress away by not giving me max equipment for my TH level even though my Queen is maxed. Now I have to grind for months just to catch up to where I was before the update.

Hero's are still in defense. So it is still really important to upgrade them so your defense is stronger. A hero potion doesn't effect defense in war

if you like Warden Walks, I have had great success so far using the Rage Gem + Life Gem or Rage Gem + Eternal Tome on the Warden Walk, because of the Rage Gem you likely wont need to commit Rage Spells to your Healers to keep the Warden alive so you can focus Spell usage on the rest of your army

I’ve been saying this for years. If you could use heroes while upgrading the game becomes more fun instantly since you can actually use heroes outside of wars. Make the star bonus every 12 hours and boom heroes equipment is also fixed.

This is the wrong approach to fixing the hero issue imo. The cost and time investment is an issue yeah, but whats way more of an issue still is not beeing able to use em all the time. Imo they should've stuck with the +5 levels and made it so u can use your heros while upgrading when the potion is active.

Where I'm at now with my progress I maxed out like 85-90% of my hero levels the way it works currently and I'd still rather have it changed then keeping it like this for new players. Maybe if they introduce a new magic item thats a bit more expensive (cost cwl medals or a lot of raid medals or something) then in that case players like you wouldnt feel like they're beeing scammed since the new item also is quite expensive itself for the newer players (maybe make it last for 12 hours though). Anyways, just a concept...all I'm sayin though is they could've done a lot better with reworking the potion.

For cwl...use the hero potion at the last minute of a day.... U can do the next day attack of the cwl using that same hero potion...so technically even cwl needs only 3/4 hero potion for heroes.

They should of never changed the hero potion. But like someone else mentioned, the potion doesnt effect defensive heros, making their bases easier to smash. So sure, please dont upgrade your heros, makes it easier for me to 3.

They had to do that to compensate for the fact that low hero levels give low equipments when you build the blacksmith. Like I got some accounts with equipment levels 8, 9 and lvl 4. Meanwhile my th14 has lvl 14 and lvl 15 equipments for heroes. You can use a potion and get a lvl 60-65 warden but you still got crap equipments which means that your lvl 60-65 warden only has skill that lasts 4-5 seconds instead of 12 seconds. So don't build the blacksmith until you get at least max th14 heroes or else you check out the price of orbs to lvl up the equipment LOL that's 20-30k ORBS you will need just to get your heroes to work like they did before at max level.

Agreed. I can't even build blacksmith on my minis bro they are th12 with lvl 50-60 heroes and the equipment you get after building blacksmith that that level is horrible. I got a th13 account with lvl 40-60 heroes that got equipment lvl 8-9 and lvl 4 for RC hero. I feel bad for building the blacksmith on it now. My heroes got nerfed as soon as I built the building.

for a cwl, you can actually activate it in a way that it will cover 2 wars. just activate it 30 min before one ends, attack late in one war, and youll have time to attack for the next war

With 1 hero portion we can attack in 2 cwl, can collect 2 star bonus and multiple attacks for remaining time. Therefore upgrading heroes seems to be a very tiring process to me now.

Hero levels have always been a drag and now it just feels even worse. After the equipment update I stopped upgrading my heroes (Im a th13 with max heroes for th12) and the game is just so much more fun. I mainly use hybrid which needs heroes and it sucked having to use sneaky goblins for farming or electrodragon because my heroes would be constantly upgrading. It's ridiculous having to spend 2-3 months and tons of DE/Elixir for what has now become minor stat buffs.

After you build the Blacksmith your heroes get nerfed in real time no lie. My TH13 RC is lvl 25 and has almost same stats as my TH14 lvl 30 RC after building the blacksmith and getting crap equipment gears. Beware of building that it's just pure nerf.

For anyone reading this comment in future Yes it does help a lot i recommend atleast 40-50 levels even if you are rushing because otherwise the heros die way to quickly and you won't be able to take down higher level bases which you will need for more loot when things get real expensive even just building any new defense like monolith So yes upgrade it to level 40-50 minimum

Hmmm So I normally use hero potion at end of the war day in cwl( having 30mins is ok for me) attack in cwl then wait a bit for the next cwl war day to start and then I can still attack with the potion in effect... In this scenario you will need only 4 hero potion total a week ... You get 3 from shop... You gotta get one from somewhere.

The point a 4:37 doesn't make too much sense, as having lower hero levels during normal attacks makes them harder then war/cwl therfore you'll have a bit extra power in war (if your strategy isn't super hero dependent like queen charge) I do something similar, my normal attacks never include cc troops, therefore my war attacks will always be stronger than normals.
