Love this! I'm tired of the blind following of religion, the picking and choosing what parts of religion to follow, the fact that people use religion as an excuse to not take control of their lives or to hate people (homophobia, racism etc)

Christianity calls people to love one another so clearly you’re not talking about Christianity.

It's not about religion is about a relationship with Jesus. "You can go to church every day of your life and still bust hells gates wide open."

it's been 2000 years we've been told of Him, and what the many churches believe Him to be has already shaped most of western history and beyond, sometimes for the best (like, accidentally, with art and music, made by artists often more penniless than faithful) but mostly for the worse (predation over Nature taken as a heirloom from Him and to our disposal, incessant crusades in His name, and the destruction of all cultures standing in His way). So, whether He got misunderstood, manipulated, failed to exist or, worse, didn't care, I don't think we can reasonably expect any positive change from Him or any-One divinely related. Can't say we didn't try though. Let's believe in ourselves (collectively) for a change, shall we ? What we truly need to survive is each other and this planet.

Let me be the first one to tell you guys! God's love is unconditional. God doesn't care about all of the things you have done "wrong". God's grace SUFFICIENT- enough. abundant. plenty. I definitely agree to the point of never feeling like you are enough when it comes to Christianity and that's actually the opposite of what the bible preaches. Lastly lol God said, "My love for you is as deep as the ocean" and you really think he cares if you are having sex outside of marriage?? Yeah, the people in the church care but at the end of the day " GOD LOVES YOU" it doesn't matter WHAT you do! all God asks is Love God with all your heart and love your neighbor as you love yourself as long as you are doing that. you are good. Relationship with God is personal. This was a really good topic. I really enjoyed it.

What bible is you reading? “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” ‭‭John‬ ‭14:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬ You know God and love God and when you experience his greatness you will be obedient to him. THE WHOLE POINT THAT HE DIED WAS SO THAT WE WILL NOT NEED TO PERISH IF WE REPENT. You saying that he would be ok with people sinning wilfully is the same things that satan would tell people do not mistake God for lucifer. By saying this you can cause people to stumble... sinning without care and without a heart of true repentance is lukewarm behaviour. Revelation 3:16 - if ur lukewarm I shall spit/ vomit you out of my mouth

I love this. So many points I never thought of. I now look at religion differently not with anger but analytically

Yeah look at religion with anger even though Atheists have caused more corruption in this world than any religion.
